Shark Tourism: Diving with Great Whites in Mexico

Great white shark cage diving is bringing tourists closer to the ocean’s top predator than ever before. Project Earth traveled to the Island of Guadalupe, in Mexico’s Baja California, to explore what role these increasingly popular personal encounters with the apex predator are playing in their conservation- and to try and dispel the fear of sharks heavily imprinted on us by the media and films like Jaws.
