Kung Fu doesn't work as advertised. When someone who does Kung Fu gets into a boxing ring Kung Fu falls apart. The flow of Kung Fu looks fancy but very little actual power is in those shots. Kung Fu would work quite well against somebody that really didn't want to fight.

Lol ok if your play fighting. There's no power in those hits. Watch what a boxer or UFC fight does.

when you're fighting with your bare hands, you don't need to go all out with your punches. It's better to focus on accuracy and speed. We have full-contact MMA tournaments, so I know what I'm talking about. Check out this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y5u1k52fbsqlosUsi=Ffv0WEHWFeCSKiK8

thank you for your comment. I practiced with different representatives of different styles. Mostly Southern styles though. I use many components of Crane, Snake, Tiger and Dragon. I'm also the adept of Jeet Kune Do, which combines all styles pretty much. Wing Chun is also very relevant of course as well as Sanda.

Boxing hooks are very practical for the KO but not always reliable if you should miss your target. The Kung Fu Hook with the scoop gives you many more opportunities for following up with alternative strikes and strategies. It increases your odds for defeating your opponent. Great input as always Sifu 🥊🥊🥋☯️

@@SifuSergey You’re welcome! I managed to accidentally snap my finger bone doing one-arm assisted push-ups using one finger with the assisted arm yesterday. Was in the process of making a new video, but will be out of action for 3 or 4 weeks physically probably. Just so you know my channel is still in full operation and I’ll be continuing to add content fitness advice in the meantime. Also got footage for 6 of the best abs exercises video short filmed already which I’ll be adding in the next day or so. I’ll make a full recovery as rapidly as possible and as Bruce Lee says: “As you think, so you shall become!” Have a great day bro!

Great explanation and demonstration of the 2 self defenses Sifu. Obviously there is more of a variety of strikes and counters when it comes to Kung Fu where as boxing you are limited. Both are effective but in my opinion Kung fu can work more to your advantage when it comes to street self defense simply because there are NO RULES! Great stuff guys. 🥋☯️

This is brilliant and is so similar to my mindset it’s almost identical! Schopenhauer wrote: “The world is my representation.” And: “For our improvement we need a mirror.” I rewrote that as: “For our improvement we need a cosmos of mirrors.” Because not only is the world our unconscious reflected back at us… We are all also a reflection of each other’s representations. In other words we are all forms and representations that arise from the void. The void is all inclusive and has no attachment to the linguistic illusions of opposing opposites. It is a free will or spirit and once the glue of the illusory ‘I’ dissolves; the spirit is free and flows outwards from one self to all.
