He needs help around him. He tries to do too much because he’s the best player on the team. He’s doing too much on his own. So yes, he’s unfortunately adapted into a bit of a pond hockey style player. If you watch youth hockey games, you’ll notice it all of the time. I’m not saying Bedard plays youth hockey, but I think that at 19 it’s easy to fall into that mindset.

Second season 46 goals and 46 assists - 2nd in Mvp Crosby - 1st season 102 points. 2nd season lead the league in points and wins MVP Mcdavid - PPG in his rookie season before breaking his leg. 2nd season leads the league in points and win MVP. Bedard is just not a generational talent.
