1) No; overturning a democratic vote is to ignore the majority of UK public. 2) The EU is badly crippled (and the EU is making each country pay to fix the damage) and many countries are about to do their own Brexit. 3) This would increase the amount of people into the UK and also increase the crime rate as many of the recent criminal action is from people coming into the UK. This would increase the taxes as we would need more services to deal with the huge amount of people.

The UK has always been trouble in the EU, political. In my honest opinion It's asking for trouble again. Unless it's unconditional. Like no more special treatment. Guarantees, if not, they better stay out. I do not think it will happen anyway. They still believe they are an Empire.

The truth is the intelligent people of the EU and the UK know being together is a huge win win. The UK is an island so the euro and Schengen are irrelevant. It would be easy for the UK to be EU compliant and join again without any financial opt outs. In 5 years the UK is going to be broke Bloomberg says we have lost nearly half a trillion (that's five hundred billion pounds) in 8 years and out GDP has only grown 6% against EU average of 24%. EU shares trade at an international premium of 25% over UK stocks. The UK is in free fall and it will only get worse. Some economists say in 5 years British workers will get better pay in Poland..... The UK needs to join and if it does the EU will be even more powerful and wealthy. Win win. I hope to proudly hold my EU Citizen GB passport again before I die.

Adopting the euro would be highly risky for the UK. Not only is the euro built on flawed fundamentals (one size fit all), Sterling was also already once forced to drop out of such a mechanism (ERM in 1992).

What worth is an ally that you can not rely on? The EU is about solidarity and community. The UK only wants the benefits, but not to be a part of the whole thing. At least that is what I guess. I would be happy to be proven wrong.

According to it's own rules the EU can't allow the UK to join unless/until the latter has significantly reformed a lot. The House of Lords, the UK "senate" is wholly made up of unelected members, some of them even got there through hereditary titles or their rank in the clergy of the Church of England. With the HoL having increased in size over the past decade or so (to ensure more votes for the ruling government) this results in the UK falling short of the EU required minimum percentage of elected lawmakers for applicants. Rampant corruption might be another reason why the UK would not qualify for EU membership.

Hungary like any democratic nation, must be free to make their own decisions on internal affairs (like migration) and not be dictated to by "un elected people" in Brussels !

The only way for the UK to get a further negotiation on any deals concerning EU is for the UK to allow free movement of people between EU and UK, because this is what the EU wants. The Scottish will put pressure on the new UK government for another debate on Brexit as the Scottish want to be part of the EU, or even go it alone.. who knows

Labour cannot unilaterally join the eu even if they wanted to, it will have to go through Parliament first and it won't get through, even if there wasn't a second referendum which would be political suicide for any government. But under the terms of joining the eu, the UK public would reject such a move. For example, all the polls tell us that the public would reject eu membership if we had to give up the pound for the Euro and join Schengen. The Euro is also weaker than the pound so economically is would be a very bad move so its not going to happen.

That sounds far too overoptimistic. First of all the U.K. isn’t very democratic. The recent crackdown on environmentalists is similar to authoritarian regimes. The poverty in the U.K. has been rising since the public elected lower house has much less power than the house of lords who are only loyal to the king and there’s the entire prosperity concentrated. If the EU would let today’s U.K. in then Turkey should join, too.

the turkey argument is just wrong, there's a huge economic obstacle there. Turkey seems to have no interest in fixing its economic policy and hyperinflation, choosing to say "who needs an economist when you have allah" Their continued diversion away from NATO to profit off of Russia only makes it appear worse. Turkey plays a major role in Russian smuggling.

A few words of caution. Rejoining would mean compliance with all EU rules and regulations. All of them. Remainers will have to take the flack for regulations that might increase costs or taxes. Plus, we need to remember the EU is not in a good position at the moment. Anti~EU, nationalist sentiment is chamging politics in Europe. This change will eventually affect the EU. Also, no British politician, no matter how pro~EU he or she might be, wants to open the EU can or worms

The Common Market was a good idea until it was given extra power as the EU; a sort of supervisor regulating over sovereign power. Britain has already been exploited by the EU, it would be idiocy to go back for more inequity. Let them deal with Hungary, due to Merkal & VD Leyen's illegal immigration policy has fractured the union. the EU has become as unaccountable & imperialist as Putin's Russia. Our inept politicians failed to use the leverage of massive UK imports & gave fishing rights in our waters (taken from our waters then sold to us), yet we are banned from fishing in EU waters. Re-nationalise public amenities which are badly run, subsidised & maintained by government funds & mostly owned by Europe - we pay more while they reap the profits. Take back Britain & invest in manufacturing & preventing food wastage through measures to prevent flooding , drill untapped oil reserves instead of buying it. We once had many thriving industries from steel to fabric. VDL has created chaos & probably the death of Europe. Hungary is a far more suitable member lol. NB The Liberals are a spent force since showing complicit hypocrisy with the Conservatives.
