I've been fixing a lot of two stroke stuff lately and I can't tell you how many I've had to use carb cleaner to get them to start first and then after that they ran great! Idk if it needs the "prime" to start pumping fuel or what? Great repair and entertaining as always. Way too many innuendos. First thing I thought man that thing is long. (That's what she said). 🤣

Ciao, Very interesting video, well done, clear , no music. Starting from 10:18 you show a Serial Number vs year of make cross reference table, how and where did you find it? I am trying to bring to life a 9.8 HP 100 with serial number 4815732, very similar to your 7.5 HP. I ask: 1) which year of make? 2) what does the 100 mean? 3) where may i find a service manual? Ciao, Antonio! You, sir, have a curious engine. If you look at the link below, partway down is a large table: www.marineengine.com/mfr/mercury_models.html?srsltid=AfmBOoqdZV-viSOTJ41VVNIA0-W9hD4eZ29TQfdt_Gyelx9-z6FoVbDi If you look at all of the 9.8 HP engines, the Mercury 100 engine serial number range doesn't match up with your serial number. The range that does match your number is a 1977 Mercury 110. Is it possible it is a 110 rather than a 100? The Mercury 100 is pretty rare and I found a little info here on a forum: www.screamandfly.com/showthread.php?217104-Early-1960s-Mercury-100-10hp -Aaron, from the other side of the pond 😁
