I got flamed for posting this on my Facebook page a couple of years back. People were telling me I was a horrible person and making fun of the Christmas season. I told them to close their eyes and imagine their 2nd grade child or grandchild, and you're watching them in their 1st Christmas piano recital, chocked full of wrong notes and timing issues... It's the the most beautiful music EVER!!

And thank you Hal Jay...and Boyce, of course.

Both were victims of the ILLEGAL TOBACCO DRUG (yes, still ILLEGAL to POISON PEOPLE, no matter how slowly you do it) and died far too young, especially Chip Moody.

I heard this for the first time on Mark Davis's show the other day. I love it! So fun and funny. I can just see Foster Brooks playing this. That would be hilarious! Thanks Mark!

Thanks Mark Davis and Hal Jay! It takes a grest musician to play badly with such sensitivity and nuance. Can't stop laughing (and crying)! JS

This is too much. I am laughing so hard I can't see because of all the tears in my eyes. As someone commented before it takes a very good musician to play piano like this. I will look for this video every Christmas.

@@neggawattt I used to jam with him and Hoffman in the fwd metro band and I did a few of the public concerts with him and the Christmas concerts in the mall, was Taft a mason? Charles Hoffman was and they used to let me sit in but I can’t remember if Taft was there or not?

We lived in Grand Prairie the 60's, 10 miles from Dallas. My 2 brothers and my sister set up a carnival in our back yard to raise money for muscular dystrophy. We raised $75 and we're somehow invited to be on the show. I would love to see that clip. All I remember is that Icky had bad breath. But it still was really cool to be on TV.

Both candidates in 1960, JFK and Nixon, were capable, honorable men and still working for the American people unlike the totally corrupt, incompetent, immoral globalists running the country today. It's gone downhill as badly as music has. Both parties are sold out.
