I miss Eric Carr 😢 he doesn't get the credit or acknowledgement he rightfully deserves. KISS fans who are stuck on the original four only and doesn't give Eric Carr and some of the others a look are sorely missing out on something incredible.

Eric Carr is great. Love his solos- but that snare has to be right up there with Metallica's St Anger as one of THE most annoying drum sounds of all time. Jesus- it's like a cheese grader to my ears!

Eric is my all time favorite drummer. I can't wait to show off my tribute kit to him in about 3 more months... RIP to a legend!

I'll always keep Eric as a great musician and drummer and a great person in my heart. I had the chance to see him twice in 1983 and 1987 (Paris Balard and Zenith). His best performance is undoubtedly his 1987 drum solo (paradoxically for one of worst Kiss album!) for Crazy Night tour. Just my thoughts but this, was a mix of all his talent. Compact and loud but musically rich of his research and harmonies. Eric i miss you.

Eric Carr had a huge drum kit and used two pedals when he played. He was a beast behind the drums!

It seems like the people commenting here missed the point of his joke. This was the Dynasty/Unmasked tour, a promo on Australian TV. He was clashing heads with Gene and Paul over the band's direction, and had in fact made up his mind to leave because they weren't "rock'n'roll" any more. So this this was a dig at Gene and Paul about having become a "pop band".

This is the most iconic Kiss period. I love the sound and look of Paul’s 1963 Gibson firebird I. It’s what he used on ‘Dressed to kill’ ‘Alive!’ and parts of Destroyer until it was broken during a studio session for the same album.
