I was 9 when I first heard this, imagine for a moment, the fidelity is already super crunchy and warm, now imagine recording this off a box record player with a boom box either up to or as close to the speaker as possible. The older skater kids in my neighborhood recorded “the dark room” by the faction, s/t suicidal and the fartz on one blank tape. I had a dual cassette deck so thankfully it didn’t lose anymore fidelity, it sounded way scratchier, like a snowstorm being blown out by music, one of my favorites of all time.

I once used Loud Fartz booted foot for a pillow. In a van on the way to Vancouver, where they played with my friend Dave and his bandmates in Extreme Hate. Saved my life, this music.
