I guarantee this author has never commuted to DC on a regular basis. DC is surrounded by natural and artificial choke points - it looks amazing but you will get to admire its beauty for hours as you sit in standstill traffic.

The problem is supply (by nature) and demand (by people) it's not complicated and it will continue until we address the people problem. Does that sound familiar? Certain people (environmentalists) cry and threaten us with existential disasters but they refuse to look at the one staring them in the face. Either that or they're too stupid. Where is the water from all that ice melt going?

The argument that city layouts (concentric vs grid) explain the difference in car dependency between European and US cities oversimplifies history and ignores key factors. Many US cities were originally designed around rail systems, like trams and intercity trains, and it was only in the mid-20th century that car companies lobbied to replace these with highways. Additionally, Europe has plenty of grid cities, such as Barcelona and Mannheim, that function without being car-dependent. Amsterdam's 1970s transformation also proves that urban design is flexible, not fixed by its historical layout.

They had another similar program on a smaller scale that also failed out by Barstow, CA. Keeping the molten sulfur stable and the plumbing and turbines working. The same problems that beset this project. In the meanwhile I am sure the Pelosi's and Obama's one and all benefited. Remember Obama was the Green President along with being the Saviour of all.

SEGS 1 was up and running in early 1985! Although much smaller, it was a perfect test model. I was privileged to have helped build SEGS 2 in 1985. It proved to be successful as well and was subsequently expanded. It almost appears to have been a Money Grab during the recent solar plant builds? The concept is tried and true, and with current technologies, there should be little to no problems.

I am grateful that American females are living with self respect and I am grateful for how the feminist voice has helped the United States and the world. Feminism is important to me, the respectful mind state towards contributions and autonomy of females is an important perspective for all wise souls to remember. The female aspect of existence is great and it is prominent in this period on our planet earth... a more laid-back and cleaner feminized life is possible for all and advisable, philosophers and daily life are making us receptive to female approaches to even non stereotypical positions. When women are not immediately objectified and are given equal power and choice there is a part of the brain and heart that corresponds with that state relaxed. The process of holding the male principle back when it had grown out of healthy boundaries is an applied wisdom. Realize the truth here、when that brain and heart correspondence is relaxed the female principle is existing in freedom and equality. This insight implies the natural uncorrupted state is female; the source of all origins is female! Wisdom is sustaining receptiveness to that female origin and self reality. In imbalanced worldviews the male principle has an unrealistic and exploitative view of woman, they have difficulty returning to full oneness The roots of our planet exist to coax them back to uncorrupted states Slowly they are returning to a vibration and thought tree that doesn't exploit the woman but finds equality and inspiration in the philosophy that females create not the male perspective. Although sometimes it is difficult to begin I am thanking all earth life for slowing and listening to the roots, for thanking their mothers and listening to their grandmothers and for keeping the healthy connection to their conscience and hearts. The seed of proper respect slowly blossoms and improvements happen in male to female relation as an entire planet, this is directly related to the restoration and health of our ecosystems. I am grateful for the strong female leadership in the United States and for the assertive self respect that is causing it to prosper in recent years as some of the best for feminism. Thank you, Goddess You bless USA as the first place a woman's choice is respected and kept And you spread the attitude of wisdom and nonsavagery nonracism and sustaining of all forests and flowers of the beautiful earth

I think this video over emphazises tesla. It surely is a major player. But not the only mover. Most people still want evs. And the general sentiment is that the technology is sound. Fluctuating power prices are scary, but its not like gas prices have been stable either.

Insanely well designed????? That is one of the biggest jokes I hav ever heard! I live in a more rural area. If I want to go to a bigger city, I have to go by car, because public transportatiton is a bad joke where I live. But when I arrive in the bigger city, finding a parking lot is a pain in the ass! Especially with the parking fees! One could think that parking should always be free, as we pay enough taxes for our cars, but no... Tons of one way streets, no logical placement of buildings and streets, so you are lost without GPS, car lanes being transferred into bloody bicycle lanes (yuck!), so there is less place for cars. The way many german cities are designed just sucks a ton!

People want to live in a small friendly neighborhood that evolves according to the residents needs, not a cold preplanned set of people cages when you have to drive to an area of inexpensive stores and restaurants to browse and congregate.

I have been constantly doing research of Singapore and despite the strict rules, punishments and hefty fines you gotta realize that none of those rules have any effect on you and when you look, it is a Singapore is one of the safest countries in the world, and the people are happy Even when they are punishing their citizens with a cane, they have a doctor in sight to make sure that they are OK and procedures to recovery when they are done even at the border when people are smuggling drugs if there are kids inside, they are still very friendly with the childrenand there are still smiles at the end of the day and because of that I have considered moving there. I live in the US and it is beginning to look like a third world country where the people are disrespectful, rude only care about money, super judgmental and think that they are better than everyone everywhere you go. There are piles of trash, homeless people and no affordable housing. It’s become overwhelming and America is beginning to look like the poverty side of demonic Republic every day.

Why not redevelop it as a peaker plant. It can just sell the power at peak prices. Can it not attract a data centre or an industry in need of super heat or excess power.
