The implications of this alone would change the world. The idea that you could digitize someone with an illness or injury, extract the damaged code, and effect repair, then restore them to the real world fully recovered, would be the greatest breakthrough in medicine.

If a user's disc is the ticket out of the grid is it just Kevin Flynn's disc or is it also possible for Sam Flynn's disc to active the portal to exit the grid?

A millicycle is 8 hours. 8000 hours per cycle. That's 333.34 days per cycle. Flynn has been trapped in the digital world for "thousands (note the plural there) of cycles", according to Quorra during the dinner scene. Assuming that means only 2000 cycles, Flynn has been trapped in the digital world for what equates to over 660,000 days, or exactly 1,825.23 years.

I loved Flynn's reaction to pulling the damaged code out and setting it free. Perfect example of how our human bodies are never destroyed but change into something else.

@Raikeran14 күн бұрын
@seyumaiayami3536 it released after Tron: Legacy but it served as a prequel to this movie. it was supposed to detail how programs started an uprising under Clu's rule but the show had since been canceled
@jayshreepatil37993 жыл бұрын
So Kevin fears Clu getting out, but wouldn't Clu just turn into a human or do programs and iso's(quorra) get some sepcial abilities when they get out, the movie never explained that part, what happens when a program gets "undigitized".
@samuelbishop33163 жыл бұрын
They stay programs the same way humans stay human inside the grid. The issue is CLU sees humanity as an imperfection, meaning he would use the Grid's population to war against earth amd shape the universe as he sees fit. Should he get his way.

@matthewteague6233 жыл бұрын
We never get to see what kind of power Quorra can exert in our world. I suspect it's more than just being stunningly gorgeous. I'm guessing Quorra, and CLU, would be able to exert near total control over most anything that runs any kind of software. Maybe not on day 1? But given time enough to learn how? But realistically, who knows if we'll ever see another chapter in the story. All we can do is speculate without knowing.

Well he and his army would probably be invincible as well so eventually he could kill everyone. Those ‘frisbees’ could decapitate 10 people in half a second 😅🤷🏼♂️
