@@ccrepairchannel joo on tullu lueskeltua. Paraniko näiden osien vaihdolla yhtään? Itellä kaikki samat osat vaihdettu plus vaihdelootan ja moottorin tukikumit. Vielä takakelkan puslat ja kytkin on semmoset mitkä vois aiheuttaa ja tottakai tehonpuute😂 Ei toi paha oo kun tottuu ajamaan mutta ois se mukava ku ei nykis yhtään

@@juhoreiss4691 En huomannut mitään muutosta… Minullakin on koneen tukikumit aivan loppu, kone heiluu ja ravistaa ihan järkyttävän paljon. Lieköhän näissä ollut jo uutena tuota bonanzaa, sillä vaan mietin että saako sitä lopullisesti pois ollenkaan…

@@ccrepairchannel En tiä saako enää näin 35v jälkeen pois mitenkään mutta pitää kokeilla ne taka-akselin puslat vielä ku ne on iha yleinen vika. Moottorin tukikumien vaihossa näkyvin ero siinä ettei koko auto heilaha enää kun sammuttaa

Nice W124, love the red interior, I've never seen that. I grew up in the Netherlands where the 200d was by far the most popular taxi at that time.

Couldn’t find new ones anywhere, so I just removed rust with citric acid and painted the old ones with CRC Galvacolor

Onko mitään remontteja tuohon tehty vai onko täysrempattu yksilö? Meillä tismalleen samanlainen auto, mutta mökkiautona ja korjataan ”yksi vika kerrallaan” tarvittaessa.

Ei voi sanoa että olisi täysremontoitu - paljon on tehty toki… Mutta paljon on myös vielä tekemistä, mm. ruostehommia riittää… Auto on tällä hetkellä pukkien päällä ja ruostekorjaukset hyvässä vauhdissa.

@@ccrepairchannel Hyvä. Jos haluat harrastella, etkä halua, että auto on kuin ”tehtaalta tullut” niin mikä ettei. Tosin sinulla on siistimpi kuin meillä, mut voi olla et se on hoidettu paremmin kuin meidän kotikonstein.

what about brushing off the rust and puttung on some K-line rost stop primer? You did nothing! The car will be off the road in a few years with that rust.

I’m dreaming about proper sandblasting equipment… After this video I have done another round of rustproofing with some cavity wax products, might need to do a third round soon…

Also if you can get ankorwax in your country I would use that too. Ive found its one of the best oil/wax treatments about. Used on everything from commercial trains, tractors and machinery and now cars.

Thanks for the hint! Always good to hear others peoples experiences about products that work well. Googled around but couldn’t find that ankorwax for sale anywhere here, unfortunately.

Bought one if these not long ago. For a 22yo car other than the usual wings being rusty the chassis is immaculate. Very underrated cars.

Well, hard to say what could be the problem. Have you checked the cable ends are properly in place? I haven’t had any problems with that cable so far…

Good result, I have some auto-balm which is at least a decade old, I will have to try to finish it, I have so many other products. A recent purchase was turtle wax ceramic and graphene paste wax and that beads water like crazy.

What size are the wheels? I have the same brakes on mine and wonder if 17 inch diameter wheels will fit. I have amg 20 inch on mine

Hello, any idea if those guides for the brake pads can be purchased from anywhere? Been searching for those and I can't seem to find them anywhere. There so much dirt/rust around and under them that the pads barely fit anymore.

I looked around and couldn’t find them for sale anywhere… If the old ones aren’t good enough after cleaning, you probably need to buy new calipers, at least they should come with new guides. Have you asked the dealer if they have those guides for sale?

@@ccrepairchannel I did not, but the chance is slim to none since I couldn't find a code for them anywhere. I didn't go as far as removing them since I have no idea if they will get good enough after cleaning, but it's the next step. They might come up good enough and the problem might be the oxidation and dirt beneath them that is slightly pushing the guides up. Quite bad design considering that the calipers look in excellent condition otherwise.

I mean bad design not to sell them as replacements since their role is similar to the thin metal strips that come in a kit with the pads on other cars.

@@roborovsky6950On my car they are quite thick stainless steel, and came out pretty nice after cleaning and straightening. The problem is probably chemical corrosion, aluminium around stainless steel gets corroded badly.

Drive shaft nut torque is 490 Nm

No it isnt supposed to be there… I left the hole to get better access inside the frame rail.

Thanks for the comment! I installed stiffer rear springs (Monroe SP3691) and brand new shock absorbers. Also tyre size is slightly beefier than original (255/65R17 vs 255/60R17)

The clip that holds the lock for the seat lock, what's it called and where could I get it? Bought a scooter but the lock for the seat is missing, it's gone so I'm sure the clip for it is gone to. I got a Jinlung 2021. Missing middle cover for seat and mat, seat lock. Found parts for like tao tao or other similar mopeds that look like this one that I'm sure fits. It's Chinese bikes so I'm hoping parts resemble others. Thank you. Dosent seem complicated to put the lock. I'm sure I'll eventually figure it out. Thank you!

I’m not sure what it is called. It seems that it is included in at least some of the lock kits, so make sure you buy one that has it

i wouldn't have welded it..i would have made a single piece cover the entire area and used glue and resins with a few screws..rough and ready but works lol.
