What is with this strange and persistent idea that reptiles dont make noise? If you even spent five minutes at a zoo, you could figure out that reptiles can be very loud. I own a tortoise and though he make not be making persistent noise, he makes mating sounds and releases air. The ocean has always been a loud place.

When I think of ancient predators, whether amphibians, reptiles, dinosaurs, protomammals etc, I think: _aggression._ We're so used to having the privilege of living on a planet where most predators have evolved a fear of Humans, or are capable of reasoning that Humans are dangerous. But go back to ancient times and survival becomes something much more honest. Hide, fight, or run.

Heres my idea for a game (its not very original but still). A survival horror roguelike called *100M* , in which you spawn onto earth 100 million years ago. You have no equipment. Theres no music, no commentary, no backstory, no real goal (beyond staying alive). And no fairness. Death comes from everywhere, and even playing the game well guarantees nothing. This would not be a game that seeks to flatter the player in any way but to convey what life would be like on such a harsh planet. A hell without reason.

Listening in darkness to this whole video has led me to the conclusion that if I were teleported back to this time, I probably wouldn't enjoy myself very much.

It's surreal to hear what these animals might have sounded like. It really ads a new dimension ot apricating what they're like. I wonder if using AI modeling it'd be possible to get even closer representations of the noises they might make.

The velociraptor sounds like a camel mixed with a squeaky swing and then a seagull-horse hybrid at the end The Utahraptor sounds like a pear being peeled, wood being cut by a saw, and an angry chihuahua. The end sounds like a tough cartoon character like Pete laughing The dryptosaurus sounds like a crazy homeless man screaming or maybe a sheep trying to sound like a crying baby with reverb The tyrannosaurus rex sounds like a goose making a sound that sounds like laughing and then an alarm sound The triceratops sounds like a car trying to start up and a bathful of water pouring down a drain Elasmosaurus sounds like if a whale somehow stubbed their toe and also the opening instrument to the RE4 remake title screen and a leaky faucet Mosasaurus sounds like a man trying to talk while drinking water and also what the gates of Hell would theoretically sound like

Hey, I know this question isn't related to the video whatsoever, and you've probably been asked this a thousand times, but what addons did you use for the 7 Hour War part of your half life movie? I'm making NPC fights of my own in gmod, and I'd like to know what you used to i can have good NPC fights too.
