If Pima county is just a small loop let the e-bike pass through, most who used it are those old folks. It’s a. Great exercise which is better mental health, doubt it will lead to lung problems. Let the people enjoy the view, the world. At one point, we were not sure if all GONNA live or die during the PANDEMIC.

Thanks for watching! I try to make sure the axle nuts and washers are as lose as possible, line up the brake rotor with the gaps in the pad and get the wheel to “bottom out” in the fork, then tighten the axle nuts. Hopefully the brake rotor is pretty straight and the front brake needs minimal adjustment. Hope this helps! 👍

I'm 5'4 and need to commute 4 miles to work on mostly throttle, some hills involved My current regular bike takes me 45 minutes and I'm exhausted upon arrival Any recommendations?
@everythingebike2 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching! As for the height, stay with a step thru model of any e-bike. As for riding the equivalent of 45 minutes on a non assisted bike (15 miles), would be no problem on any decent rear hub motor e-bike. Stick with a push throttle, not twist. 750 watts (that usually peak at 1000) is far more then adequate. I was impressed with this e-bike. Good power and battery, UL certified, 750 watt motor, and hydraulic disk brakes. For under $1000. Not bad. Thank again! 👍⚡️🚴♂️⚡️

Nice video. I live in the Milwaukee area and have ridden a lot of these. I have got to get to Madison this year and ride the Capitol city trail. I think you missed a great trail ( Bugline trail) that starts in Menomonee Falls. It is 16-17 miles long and is beautiful. I loved riding the Elroy/Sparta trail in 2018. There is a lot of history on that trail. I have ridden the Bearskin Trail twice and I really liked it. For the last 4 years I have going to Minocqua and Boulder Junction to ride the Heart of Vilas County Trail System. I absolutely love it up there. I think it is the best biking in Wisconsin. The Manitowish Waters Bike Trail is my favorite trail. I ride the Hank Aaron trail almost daily in the good weather. It is a very nice trail that hooks up to the Oak Leaf trail down by our lakefront. Wisconsin has a lot of great biking options. .

I’m looking for a derailleur guard for mine. When you loaded it into the Corolla did the derailleur take any weight? I wasn’t sure which side to lie it on when folded
@everythingebike4 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching. I think any derailleur guard that would fit a Shimano Altus would be fine. The mounting is pretty typical. I didn't think about the sides when I put it in the Corolla, but I tried it again, and most of the weight was on the crank and folded pedal. But in the future, I will put it in rear disk brake side down. Good catch! 👍👍👍
@cjbono14 ай бұрын
@@everythingebike you need a derailleur guard for e-bikes due to the wire. They have a notch the wire can slide through. And the shape of the frame seems like we’ll need a specific one. I’m waiting to see if ride1up will offer one. Apparently newer models are suppose to come with a guard and a bell but I’m not 100% sure
@everythingebike4 ай бұрын
I still think an item like this would fit to protect the derailleur. amzn.to/3OzoE9S. The derailleur is mounted on a hanger. I think what you’re saying is you also want to protect the power wiring to the hub. Here’s another idea: www.geohandguards.com/product-page/derailleur-guard-by-geo

@@everythingebike one of our favorites is the Dillon Reservoir RecPath in Dillon/Frisco, CO. This trail also connects to a paved path that will take you into Breckenridge and the Ten Mile RecPath that parallels I-70. There’s another great path in northern Colorado called the Poudre River Trail that runs between Greeley and Windsor. I’m told it will soon connect to Fort Collins trails as well. There many more, but these might keep you occupied for a few days. Happy peddling 🇺🇸

The Pima county website says e-bikes aren’t allowed, was thinking of visiting Tucson, think I will bring my e-bike anyway. Seems to be a grey area. I’m sure as long as you’re using pedal assist and Not going too fast it shouldn’t be an issue.
@Mrdsmith5004 ай бұрын
@@kevloos86 It is confusing. My understanding is the unincorporated area of Pima county loop portion might be an issue. That would be a very small portion of the loop. The rules are changing where you can ride and most of it is open to an ebike. There is a somewhat new Arizona law that states that an ebke is not a motorized vehicle. So when you see signs that state no motorized vehicles allowed, it does not pertain to an ebike. Still trying to figure it all out myself.
@CellCoachCom3 ай бұрын
Look up the State's definition of motorized cycles. E-Bikes AND gasoline powered bicycles are LEGAL on the bike path, as long as the State's power/size levels are adhered to. Information from others here that differ from this are incorrect. I have ridden gasoline powered bicycles on the path FOR YEARS. Just be respectful and careful of speeds, regardless of motor type, use a muffler to be respectful of others if using a gasoline engine, and IGNORE anyone on the path that doesn't like it. The State rules apply to this public path, not those that are uninformed. Those that want to complain about your motor use, prior to looking up the applicable laws, are arrogant and rude.

I want to do a tour: i have a recumbent Etrike with a Solar charging system.. the first tour i tried to do out of Portland OR to Coeur d'Alene, i plotted on Komoot.. (a useless mapping tool) as it didn't mention that 30 miles into my route i would be met with 2 flights of stairs.. Not possible for a disabled rider.. I have not been able to find a "route planner" Or cycling map that can identify stairs... Disabled riders need to know if there are stairs on the route.. That is called a dead end... and it discriminates against disabled riders..
