Funnily enough I was just thinking about that. this came from a post I made showing some of the steps during construction. I will try to get it together and post = :-) just takes me while to film and edit things

the short answer is to tape a length of twisted invisible thread behind the aperture and add the spinner part to each side - sticking the backs together

Once I figured out what to do, I realized this could have been a 30 second video. 1. Outline - doesn't even have to be a bevel- maybe you have a circular object to outline 2. Shift select to select original bitmap and outline 3. Object->Clip->Select *** Done *** Wow, that's the pain of trying to get a quick answer

Great video. Very professionally done. Love the tip on the docking of the Palette. It's examples like that in Inkscape that could totally frustrate a beginner and they may abandon their efforts in learning the program. I'm glad you took the time to mention it.

Can you please show how to get those dash lines in Inkscape that will open and cut properly in Cricut Design Space? I’ve asked several people and each time I’ve tried their suggestions, it either cuts the line as if there were no dashes or it won’t load onto the canvas. Thank you in advance.

Whenever I follow these steps, the image is always on top and moves when I drag it. Even after I set the nodes lines to be on top, I can still only drag the image instead.

for some reason the program doesn't name units. I'm just suppose to assume they are inches off set from the original cut lines? This matters to me because I'd like to do 1/16th inch off sets for contour cutting. One means nothing without units. From just guess I assume 1 means a tenth of an inch. So 10 is one inch.
