The thing is there is no evil empire in Jin-Roh. The victorious Germany is a democracy and so is Japan. In fact, Kerberos Saga is a series warning about the danger of extremism. Both sides, the Rebels in the sewers and the soldiers are extremists. The rebels are left wing pro-communists and the soldiers are right wing pro-imperial fascists. Meanwhile the democratic japanese government tries to play both sides against each other and to maintain control.

don't know anything about this movie. don't like anime in general for a lot of its goofier tropes and annoying childish/cartoony elements. But this looks like its more serious than that, and if the algo keeps pushing these sick edits on me I might have to watch it. Seems highly revered in the comments for a lot of reasons I usually enjoy. Strongly considering.
