@@Firealarmcollectorperson Thank you for the return. I fixed the problem by switching to programming mode and disabling address 28 as recommended on another forum. My system is not connected to any telephone line since I installed the Envisalink4 module for remote control.

On a conventional system, you can add as many devices to the IDC as you want. You only need to program if you want to rename the IDC (not possible if there's no LCD) or you want to change it to a drill switch or something. Although most panels let you set it to supervisory with dip-switches. Hope this helps!

20P's are better, because they have 8 zones. But beware, vistas are expensive!

You have to wire a keypad into your 20p. Alarm grid or youtube should have some videos/articles on how to do it.

Basically, you just triggered a police panic. You can turn it off with 6321, 4112, or 1234 (default codes) Or, use your default code. Basically, you need to unplug it, unplug the battery, then plug it in without the battery, BE FAST, because after 30 seconds it times out, and when you press * and #, it is taken as a police panic after 30 seconds of power. The plugs are mostly located in storage rooms, basements, and/or garages (same for the panel, which inside of the panel is where the battery is.) There is probably a 1393 key on top of the panel, which you use the key to unlock the panel. Then, you can plug the battery back in when you are in programming.

I have no idea. Make sure you have no tripped sensors or something.

Sure, I will once I can get it set up as the LCD5500 is in the 6150's original spot. I might even do a full series where I go in-depth with setting up and wiring the Vista 15P or 20P!

It definitely could be improved with him actually talking over the whole thing. It could also be improved with an alpha keypad. But, what he does is enough and it helps me!
