This interviewer needs to grow a pair of balls. They way he glosses over the Mark Farner situation, thus letting Don totally slide when responding, is pathetic. It sounds like Don himself wrote the question the interviewer asks him about life GFR after they kicked Mark to the curb.

Another story of gifting guitars. Led Zeppelin was at the Fillmore and Jimmy Page was having difficulty keeping his guitar in tune. Here comes Joe Walsh with a beautiful Les Paul and gives it to Jimmy, the guitar that went on to be played on all of the classic Zeppelin albums. Very cool.

Without Mark Farner there is no Grand Funk. Mark Farner is and always will be the driving force behind Grand Funk. Funny how Don acts like American Band was his idea when it was Lynn Goldsmith who came up with the idea and Mark wrote most of the song. Look up the interview with Lynn Goldsmith and Mark to find out the truth. Don and this loser band is a fraud.

🎼 Farner thought they were all friends, but they decided to kick Mark to the curb...he wrote 98% of their songs. Funny the guy in the audience says; "Mean Mistreater" is his favorite song...How can anyone but Mark sing that song & Farner wrote almost every song.

@@jockaud🎼 Man that makes a whole lot of sense, but don't think he was a part of the so called Trademark of GFR. None of them really say much about Frost. I get the feeling he probably never felt entirely in the band. Or was ever asked to rejoin them. Something seem a little strange & unfair. I'm glad he feels apart of The Bob Seger Band. I think after they broke up in 1976 that maybe he was just tired of all the B S. ??

🎼 Mark Farner didn't decide to leave Grand Funk Railroad as Don Brewer says in this interview . Mark was voted out of the band with NO reason as to why . It is sad to think Brewer would lie about this, but it's true. Mark Farner has even said he would get back together with Brewer & Schacher, but they refuse to even talk to him.

@@hihiaurelnarmadashankar4334 Wow. thanks for asking. In not particular order, of course: 1 - Peter Frampton 2 - Randy Bachman 3 - Eddie Van Halen 4 - Robin Trower 5 - Jimi Hendrix 6 - Joe Perry 7 - Keith Richard & Ronnie Wood - where does one end and the other begin.. both brilliant on their own but stellar together 8 - Stevie Ray Vaughan 9 - Gary Moore - recorded he was brilliant. Live he was terrifying. The greatest guitar tone and live technique I have ever heard or seen. 10 - Lil Wayne - Just seeing if you're really reading this. 10 would probably be Billy Gibbons. And who appears on your top ten list?
