I’ve never heard a better rendition of Gabriel’s Oboe by a soloist. It is sublime, I wish I could source it digitally or on CD, but I can’t find it. Please tell me if you know where I can source a HQ recording of Henrik Chaim Goldschmidt playing this.

Reggaeton connects with our very primal basic core, while this music connects deep within our souls. Such performance!

Such a pretty song! I play it on oboe, and over a dozen other instruments. I have over 276 instruments in my life long collection, and I play ALL of them. I saw in others comments that Henrik plays it perfect, however... the last note is FLAT. Otherwise, a FANTASTIC performance. Its no telling how many times I've played along with him!!!
I cry every time when I listen to this masterpiece.

Truly mesmerising ❤❤❤. It chokes you up. Ennio Morricone is the greatest composer to come up with a piece of art like this ❤❤❤❤

It is December 5th, 2024. I saw this movie and heard this music when it first came out. As a musician, this is one of the most haunting yet incredibly beautiful pieces of music I have ever experienced. I am 62 years old and when I am tired of fighting the world around me.... I sit and turn this in repeat....close my eyes and sink away into the emotion and clarity of this music. I remember always, the oboe as it was trampled at the end of the movie... I am sitting here with tears in my eyes.... Wow... Music soothes the savage beast....

What a wonderful tribute in the music plated by orchestra members that are barely teenagers themselves,,,,... a true testament to their musical ability at such a young age.

To bad the orchestra over powered the sooist. You should be able to hear the soloist, the conductor should have been aware of this, the otchestra should be the accompaniment to the soloist. The oboist is a remarkable musician for his age. Bravo to the solosit. You did a fantastic job under the circumstances
