My cutting skills still have a lot of room for improvement. If you want to practice cutting, I recommend starting with the most basic clear glass. It’s all about getting better with experience. 😊

I simply print the patterns from my computer and cut them out with scissors. Then, I use a glass marker pen to trace the lines onto the glass. It takes a bit of time, but it's the easiest method.

Honestly, I’m not sure exactly how many hours it took 😅, as I worked on it in my spare time. However, it definitely took at least 25 hours. Since I'm still gaining experience, I spent more time on each step. Plus, being a perfectionist, I couldn’t resist making sure everything was just right, which took even more time. 🤣 For this project, I used lead-free solder. Although I have copper patina, I've heard it doesn't work well on lead-free solder. I tested this on a small piece, and the result wasn't ideal. That's why I decided to use gold leaf. In hindsight, silver might have been a better choice. The gold leaf is very eye-catching and seems to overshadow the orange glass. P.S. I really wish there was gold patina, I have a special fondness for gold. 🤣
