In the comics Psylocke is not an extremely powerhouse telepath like Emma, Jean, or Prof X, so this is accurate

Unless deep thoughts distract a telepath .... it is super rare to even sneak up on them .... Emma shows this in two other episodes when Wolverine actually does sneak up on her and when the team faces Sinister to retrieve Cyclops and Jean. She knocks out a henchmen trying to get her from behind.. That being said, this version of Betsy, even if she had her Ninja skills cannot sneak up on Emma. In diamond form, she cannot use her psychic powers, but neither can anyone get into her mind. At best, Betsy can only try to trap her and get away.

Hahahahaha. If all of those hive mind psychic twins couldn't hold it together what made the diamond princess think she could? Diamond is an "indestructible" rock, but the Phoenix force could eat a whole sun or planet, diamonds and all, if it got hungry lol. Cyclops shouldn't have fought it, he should've just let Jean kill it or tame it however long that would've taken. Lastly, this isn't even the phoenix's final form.

This may not be the closest to the phoenix saga from the comics. But anythings better than Fox's feeble attempts to try and retell this story. X-men cartoons ftw.

In hindsight Emma’s plan to release the Phoenix was how she was able to defeat Shadow King so quickly earlier on: she dragged him out of Storm long enough for the others to drag Storm away and then left him without a host body to disintegrate

This cartoon did Emma frost right. The live action movies showed too little of Emma frost when she’s top 5 most important characters in the entire xmen comics. Hopefully the MCU will fix this
