If you watch it again, the force of the impact differing between Emma's blasts and Psylocke's should show you who is in control and who is more powerful. The simple fact is..she lost, Emma won. Psylocke is 100% immune to telepathy lol. It was a power granted to her through magic by her brother; in a real comic fight, Emmy's psychic attacks wouldn't do anything. After that Emma's best bet is diamond form and obviously psylocke is way more physically capable, being a telekinetic ninja and everything.

Evan doesn’t prove much though, Emma was able to knock out Jean and the entire X Men, AND masked herself as Prof X in Jean’s memories to bring her to open the mental defenses, considering that Emma also simultaneously took out Jean and Charles at the same time, I don’t think it has been established in this show that Jean is stronger than Emma.

Actually Psylocke is the Omega level Mutant, not Emma. Betty (Psylocke) was able to penetrate and destroy the telepathic and telekinetic-resistant helmet of Juggernaut and got inside his head,a feat not even Phoenix or Professor X could not accomplish. So yeah, she's way more powerful.

Kurt Lim no not quite as Emma has a flexible diamond form as well as hand to hand combat training from the X-men. In an X-men comic banshee attempted to make a example out of Emma she defeated without any reliance on her power. If we were to say that Emma had to go against pyslocke and her hand to combat being nearly rendered useless she could turn into her diamond form which gives her increased stamina, durability, strength,speed, and near invulnerability. This was also shown in a comic when Emma got hit by a blast from a sentinel and it only took of her arm which is comparably good to what it did to juggernaut who was sent flying through the city with a whole in his chest.

Hand-to-hand Psylocke is leagues above her. And Psylocke could beat Emma in diamond form too, Emma's diamond form is only immune to telepathy but not to other psionic powers like telekinesis and Psylocke powers ignore durability. In a telepathic battle alone Emma is above Psylocke.

They are hurling psionic energy blasts at each other. Psionic energy is the source of telepathic and telekinetic power. From a telepath, the majority of the effects are telepathic but there are some minor telekinetic effects mostly from Emma who has telekinetic potential. You need a more powerful telepath to deal with and defeat Emma Frost like Professor Xavier, Apocalypse, Exodus (I read comments that a duel between the two took place already, and Emma won, because Dust distracted Exodus, but I can't find any detail on this), Stryfe, or Jean Grey would come to mind. Emma Frost would certainly be no match for the powerful telepathic Moon Dragon. She defeated a weakened Shadow King, because he couldn't recycle his psychic strength from lack of a bodily host. Psylocke is not powerful enough to defeat Emma Frost.

They are both omega level telepaths. Emma has been repeatedly referred to as such in comics and psylocke has been said by writers during interviews to be omega level telepath. Psylocke is also an omega level telekinetic, and even jean Grey has referred to her as omega level. Psylocke also happens to be 100% immune to telepathic attacks as Chris Claremont wrote her, so this battle is not accurate at all.

Perhaps, but if action requires thought, then instinctive reflexes do not. A well-trained individual can act and react without thinking, as if by second-nature. Emma would have the advantage in a mental-battle, but in a hand-to-hand situation, Psylocke would have definitely had the advantage. Which is why Emma won this fight. The creators of the show did not give Psylocke the proper ninja skills.

Unless deep thoughts distract a telepath .... it is super rare to even sneak up on them .... Emma shows this in two other episodes when Wolverine actually does sneak up on her and when the team faces Sinister to retrieve Cyclops and Jean. She knocks out a henchmen trying to get her from behind.. That being said, this version of Betsy, even if she had her Ninja skills cannot sneak up on Emma. In diamond form, she cannot use her psychic powers, but neither can anyone get into her mind. At best, Betsy can only try to trap her and get away.

This is a version of the two characters that is UNIQUE to the world of "Wolverine and The X-Men" -- which takes place in an alternate reality to the one in mainstream Marvel comics. But even writers of the mainstream comic-book versions (Earth 616) of the characters are not consistent with the powers and abilities of either character -- especially Psylocke, whose powers have changed a lot over the years. Additionally, the X-Men have a TON of fairly powerful telepaths in various teams: Jean Grey, Professor X, The Stepford Cuckoos, Quentin Quire, Rachel Grey/Summers, and of course Betsy and Emma. Originally, Betsy was only a moderately-powered telepath who also experieced (irregular) precognitive flashes. She appeared occasionally in Captain Britain (her twin brother) stories. When she briefly took over the battlesuit and mantle of Captain Britain, she was beaten nearly to death by the villain Slaymaster, who gauged out her eyes. This trauma took some time to get over. She was given bionic eye replacements and Betsy eventually found herself in America assisting the New Mutants and later the X-Men. Betsy joined the X-Men, taking the codename Psylocke, after she single-handedly drove off Sabretooth during The Mutant Massacre, a time when the X-men sorely needed a telepath (Professor X was in Shi'ar space and Jean Grey was recently returned and a member of the first X-Factor). Betsy wore a very feminine pink frilly jumpsuit in her early days with the team, but eventually donned a suit of pink/purple armor with a cloak. Her telepathic abilities became steadily stronger during this time and she even seemed to surpass Xavier at times in terms of the sheer breadth of her various telepathic talents. When Psylocke, as acting team leader in Storm's absence, tricked her fellow X-Men thru the Siege Perilous (long story) to avoid being killed by The Reavers, it rebooted their lives -- including hers. Thanks to Spiral, Betsy's body and mind became entangled with that of Hand ninja-assassin Kwannon. Each gained a measure of Betsy's telepathic abilities and Kwannon's martial skills -- but Betsy's personality and mind were now in Kwannon's body -- and Kwannon in Betsy's. Hence: the birth of ninja-Psylocke!! During this time, Betsy's telepathic abilities seemed to regress in power a bit but she gained use of a psionic knife that could instantly incapacitate nearly anyone. This remained her power-set for most of the late 80's thru the mid-90's. Psylocke gained the ability to teleport thru shadows (and a red mark over her left eye) from the Crimson Dawn. She also gained a twisted astral shadow-self. When she used her telepathic abilities to trap The Shadow King within her own mind, Psylocke was forced to give up using her telepathic powers lest he escape. This somehow made her immune to all forms of telepathic contact/attack. To compensate for this loss, Jean Grey used a portion of her then-Phoenix power to "give" Psylocke a measure or telekinesis. This may (or may not) have actually been a secondary power/mutation inherently possessed by Psylocke. With telekinesis replacing telepathy, Betsy also swapped her signature Psi-Blade for a Telekinetic Katana -- which could cut thru virtually anything but leave organic material unharmed. She also adopted a fighting style that incorporated using her telekinesis to boost her own physical abilities -- including strength, speed, and durability. Her telekinetic abilities during this time were WILDLY inconsistent. One character proclaimed Betsy was powerful enough to level mountains, while at other times, it seemed her TK-shields were fairly easily overcome. During the "Dark Angel Saga" the Jean Grey from the Age of Apocalypse unlocked Psylocke's full potential as a telepath. While her telekinesis has regressed somewhat, Betsy is now considered an Omega-level telepath on par (power-level) with Jean Grey and Rachel Summers/Grey.

You still need to have some measure of thought to act on something. Your brain needs to process information. I get that somethings are impulsive decisions but psylocke wouldnt be able to hide her mind from Emma, so she'd still loose, If Emma bothered to fight her properly. You can tell from this video her demeanor was relaxed, I highly doubt she was even trying. Hence her "So Pathetic" comment at the end.
