This is the first time I hear a Jem theme song other than the original English ones. It made me curious about other different openings. This could have been great for season 3 of the Jem series

Even if it s been quite a long time since it s been loaded, you did a good job about the translation. Nothing to complain. 😉 Besides,Cristina D'Avena is the queen of the opening themes in Italy since 1982 and still on the run.

IMHO, Jem kinda sounds full of herself with these lyrics. But I sorta like them too.

After some extensive googling I've learned two things, the song in Hungarian is actually called "A Hercegnő És A Kobold" which is also the name of the movie, with this in hand it was actually very easy to find the lyrics ( www.zeneszoveg.hu/dalszoveg/6766/rajzfilm-slagerek/a-hercegno-es-a-kobold---nem-kell-hosnek-lenned-zeneszoveg.html ) and a video of the Hungarian version ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/enXZe6yqi7KnZrs ) which despite it's name didn't immediately come to the front in a regular search. Second, there appears to be an orchestral version available on amazon ( www.amazon.com/A-Hercegn%C5%91-%C3%89s-Kobold/dp/B01DB7KILY ). Unfortunately even my Google Fu is unable to dredge up the actual sheet music, it's possible someone who speaks Hungarian would have better luck however for now we shall simply have to carry on as is.

That makes sense; most languages cannot be translated word-for-word (especially sayings) because that's how meaning would get lost. I do remember the Japanese teacher's example: when we think someone's sick, in English we say they look a little green, but in Japanese we say that someone who's sick looks a little blue... which means something COMPLETELY different in English. XD

I tend to use jemlist . tripod . com / showsong . html; for the most part, I assume they're accurate. There are a few exceptions, such as in this one, where they didn't have what Stormer and Roxy were singing and I had to listen to the song a few times to figure it out.
