Complete Jem Italian Opening with English Subtitles

Allow me to introduce the ONLY Jem song to ever get an official CD and MP3 download release... and it's the Italian opening. Am I the only one that finds that amusing?

That makes sense; most languages cannot be translated word-for-word (especially sayings) because that's how meaning would get lost. I do remember the Japanese teacher's example: when we think someone's sick, in English we say they look a little green, but in Japanese we say that someone who's sick looks a little blue... which means something COMPLETELY different in English. XD

This is the first time I hear a Jem theme song other than the original English ones. It made me curious about other different openings. This could have been great for season 3 of the Jem series

Even if it s been quite a long time since it s been loaded, you did a good job about the translation. Nothing to complain. 😉 Besides,Cristina D'Avena is the queen of the opening themes in Italy since 1982 and still on the run.

it is the contrary dude,italian comes first and directly from ancient roman. Spanish is like an italian dialect,but widely spread by spanish medieval conquers

HEH. a lot of people hate how I translate things because I try my best to replicate the meaning and tone instead of translating the words. Although most of the higher-level linguists and language teachers I've dealt with didn't really mind.

My italian is so-so but it's my third (maybe fourth? It's slightly better than my Japanese even though I started on that first...) language. I would've twisted some of the phrasing around to sound more natural in English, but it's a style choice with translation and you're pretty consistant the whole way through with it. (I'd've flipped "Always passionately singing" to "always singing passionately" but I also use double contractions in English so :P )
