Imagine the doctor with a Not-Thing companion. I can just imagine them being super curious about how everything physical works, and early on they’re not 100% sure how simple things like eating works so they just take bites out if almost everything from actual food people give them to street signs they happen to pass by

"Friar Tuck" had the angels captive. The same movie that Costner was in along with the boy from H.R. Pufnstuf.

In some ways, this creature seems inspired by a Larry Niven creature called a Pierson's Puppeteer.

Nothing on Big Finish or in the Dr Who monthlies is canon given it is not televised, and also no one can called these things canon.

I watch it when I was 6 years old and it traumatized me a lot. At that point the fear to be alone or the dark started. Now I see that Alien and it looks not really somethink I would fear. I will maybe watch it again to see why this ep destroyed my 6 years old self.

I feel like Doctor Who’s regeneration and altered Carbon how they swap bodies both are the best ways I’ve seen for a show to swap a main character and not piss me off that much

I agree- love them as a monster. Fantastic name. I also think they could make a great explanation/retcon of the (imo terrible) episode Listen.
