I’ve wondered that myself. Sometimes they match the units I’m using but there have been times when it doesn’t. I should go through all of my videos to see if there’s any relation to mine or the opponent’s MSs.

@@ncspacemonkey yeah, for example in the kamen rider arcade when you do a finisher it starts playing the opening theme of the riders series

@@vicdimitriou1722 I know I got "Freedom" a couple of times as I was playing with the SEED Freedom units but then in a following match I got "Ash Like Snow", but I didn't have any 00 units. I can't remember if the opponent did. So perhaps it's random or perhaps it's the series that are highlighted in the current set?

The game really is addicting, isn't it? I haven't really played games at a game center in maybe 15 years but this one has me coming back constantly. I hope you get the chance to come back soon to play again!

Not all of the old cards are useless and there are still a few that pop up frequently in a lot of decks. Deathscythe and Calibarn come to mind in that regard. However the power creep is pretty bad and the meta favors the latest and most powerful cards. But I do think that the current UT meta has slightly larger pool than the LX4 meta. And there have been a number of decks that make some creative uses of old pilots/MS units in their line up from time to time. If you feel that the older cards you have are useless in ranked matches, you can always make the most of them in missions against the CPU or even in casual matches, which I hear have a lot more experimental decks and people playing the cards they like.

As far as I know, it’s currently only in Japan.

Right? That's kind of why I feel like it's just a bot. Or it could be someone messing around with a new/random deck since it was so late at night. Or even they may have made a mistake and put the wrong card in their team. I did that once when the machine gave me a card I really liked so I swapped out one of my less-helpful PLs before the next match. It wasn't until the match started that I noticed the PL I swapped out was my defender and the new card was a base attacker. So I lost my defender for that match, too. lol

@@ncspacemonkey I’m with you, sometimes when the wait was long, it would be a super easy W, but I didn’t know if it was a bot or if I was just low rank and playing scrub starter teams.

@@nathanngai3913 While it could be players testing out some random teams with suits they like rather that overpowered, competitive decks, the fact that it seems to happen a LOT after long matchmaking waits is really suspicious.

It's very tempting to go play a match when I have time but that's just so much money. And since there will be a whole new set of cards released with Unitribe, I'm going to want to try to get some good ones so it's going to cost me even more money than usual. Right now it's not worth buying extra cards since the odds of getting a good one are so slim. However, it sounds like the Unitribe update is going to remove the EX Battles (which I never caught on video) and instead guarantee an M rare or higher if you buy extra cards. Probably have to buy all 4 though, to get the rare. Expensive but it's better than spending an extra 400 yen and getting four commons.

@@ncspacemonkey aw I liked the random EX battles, but a guaranteed rare isn’t the end of the world. That’s gotcha life. What are the hype cards for Unitribe?

@@nathanngai3913 I think a lot of people are hoping for Destiny Gundam this time around. There’s a pretty good Shinn base attacker and Athrun defender shown so far. Plus there’s some hype for the heavier focus on Gundam X.

@@nathanngai3913 Yeah, that Unicorn looks to be well-made for base attacking. 500 long range attack is nothing to sneeze at. I came to Japan on the JET Program to teach English. I thought I'd stay maybe 1 or 2 years but I really took to the country. Nearly two decades later I'm still here. ;)

This could so easily be a mobile game with digital cards. Perhaps someday they'll make a version like that to play internationally. I really like it but as an arcade game it is so expensive.

@ncspacemonkey yea I guess. I just discovered this game a few days ago, and I was immediately interested but realized it was only in Japan. Hope it will come out with a new version for international. And yea, I agree with the price tag. It is definitely expensive game to play

@@ncspacemonkey I discovered it online while searching for info on the new movie Gundam Seed Freedom. There is a new catalogue from Bandai and showcase this game. I was really hooked on the graphic and the gameplay cause I am a big Gundam game fan like super robot wars and battle operation. Then I search online for information on this game. Found out it was only in Japan. 🥲

​@@ncspacemonkey I discovered online when I was searching for info on the newest gundam movie, GSF. I saw Bandai released a catalogue for all the merchandise for the movie and this game happened to also feature in it. I was immediately hooked on the game's graphic and gameplay. But too bad it was only released in Japan.

Found a Lunamaria for cheaper than usual so I’ll have a full set now, not counting parallels.

They also released a new version which adds the Sentou Chuu (Battle for Money) into the mix.

So they decided to do run for money and battle of money all in one.
