I play the Laskey 30G on my MRP rotary CC tuba. It's a fantastic combination that provides crystal clear articulations and a colorful, large sound.

Timing of the tongue is to me the most difficult part of slide trombone playing. In my experience it help to release air from tongue a slight instance before the slide reaches the targeted slide position. And rehearsing this during warmup carries over to playing thereafter.

When you're playing, u're buzzing or just blowing air?

@@evertongomes4248 Your lips vibrating is what makes the sound itself. You get that by blowing air.
@8miceinaboxАй бұрын
Neither and Both at the same time. You’re not really buzzing the same as when you try to buzz with a mouthpiece vs no mouthpiece vs with your instrument. You are still kind of buzzing but there’s a lot more air going along with it.
