Soft Scrub is my best bathroom friend, hahaha. But only if you are okay using bleach products. Scrub Daddy paste is second best and is bleach-less. Are you able to fit the wood rack and bench in the entryway or do you have to take out the bench to fit the rack? We keep the rack next to the fireplace b/c we don't have a mudroom/entryway.

I typically just use bleach on the toilet so maybe I’ll try the scrub daddy paste!! Thank you! And the bench has to come out for the couple of months that we have the rack! It makes me sad but it’s much more convenient haha. We stack ours next to the stove as well, kind of the “next load” so it’ll dry even better before we load it. Some of the wood got snowed on so the bark is a tad damp

@@frankiedominguez1872 It was a big selling point for sure! In our apartment we had barely any storage, no designated coat closet or anything. So the minute we walked into that mudroom and saw how sunny it was I was sold. And yes definitely, wood stoves are so much work but save us so much on heating! It took us a year to get it figured out and now it runs so efficiently (aside from in this cold snap, this cold snap is a struggle!)

Hahaha yes they actually shockingly don’t bug the tree BUT the newest kitty has yet to experience that and I have a feeling we won’t get so lucky with her. She’s already a bit crazy!😂

Glad to hear you're looking to visit WDW before Teddy turns 3 - not having to pay for his ticket is a HUGE benefit to the trip budget. I worked for Disney Stores for 6 years after my younger son was born. It was a 14 hour drive to the parks, and we did that 2 to 4 times before we moved to Florida in 2004. My younger son was 21 months when we visited the first time, and my gosh, it was amazing. Teddy is at the perfect age to experience all the fun!

I have a 3 1/2 year age gap between my son and daughter, I felt that was perfect! my son was potty trained and independent but also not going to school yet which was great because he wasn’t bringing germs home to his newborn sister 😅

Searching for and transitioning into a new job is one of the most stressful adult experiences that people don't recognize enough. Thank you! He spent nearly a year searching and trying to get interviews and it took a lot of time to find the right fit financially so I am super grateful it finally worked out for him. We are finally coming out of the transition stage and falling into a groove with the new schedule and the one car thing so hopefully it’s smooth sailing here on out!

Love the yellow. Sick of neutrals…builder beiges, boring greyges, tans, muted anything. I decorate to please me, no one else. Couldn’t care less what others decide is ‘trendy’. We were going to move when I retired, so we haven’t changed the builder beige (it’s in every room). We’ve decided to stay here and I am going to go wild with color!

I love this! I used to be into the neutrals when I first had my own place but over the years have grown to love color!! The kitchen is the first room I’ve done something really bold whereas the rest of the house is mostly greens and blues but I just think it’s so fun to mix color and wood tones. It gives everything such a homey feel. The color will totally transform your house, I hope you have a blast painting it all fresh!

There so much stigma with laminate floors but we get more compliments on our laminate floor than the couple rooms that have real wood. We can’t afford to convert the whole house or hardwood and we are loving what we have the way we have. Honestly your cabinet color with the red stove and the brick and the new floors looks stunning. I cannot wait to see the finished product. You guys have done a beautiful job

Your flooring looks amazing! We did vinyl planks in our house too, and I had the same thoughts as you about LVP vs tile before we ultimately went with the LVP. Nice to know other people have those thoughts too 😂. It looks like you did a fantastic job installing it, and did it so quickly too!
