I believe you need 10 pistol kills per game in order to get the ribbon unlock. The boost? I am assuming you mean the assault class, you need to get experience points. You play the MP and the soldier classes will naturally unlock as you rank up.

Bud? CoD is literally pay to win. Players always looking for the stable guns and people cheating to be good. Is not that it was canceled because of the guns but people whining it was “difficult” to aim.

@@rollin60z Activision has implemented AI to help with the game. And The algorithm has been called into question because of how bad SBMM is currently. So many people flock to buy cheats to get ahead. Even the big streamers have been caught using cheats to win.

Sadly, after the news broke out from Guerrilla I highly doubt we will ever get a remastered. The IP is done according to Guerrilla Games 😭

Yeah the host can really influence your performance. But is fun, I love the game even if is laggy.. is still better then the dps we have today.

Sorry to hear that, when players create lobbies they forget to ensure the settings do not restrict low level players. Try today, I can assure you that a lobby will be created and you will be able to play. Also in the discord we have save data files if you want to use one to unlock all classes and weapons.

same here dude.. i'm only a new player on there but i had that don't have appropriate rank message on one of the hosted games, some of the others has locked keypad symbol on it. i find thursday evenings to be the best time as weekends seems dead on there.

@@Jungle-Run Hey there, when you join the PS Rewired server you can head over to the Killzone 2 chat and get the save data file from there and unlock everything. Sometimes, people restrict the settings so only people that have the highest rank can join. We do not like those guys...

For sure! My time zone is Central Time USA and I find lobbies active starting at 1:00PM. Join the discord, it’s in the video description, we post the time of the lobbies there. The calendar adjusts to your time zone automatically so you know exactly when players will be online.

I play via the PS3 console and use the El Gato HD60-X to capture my footage.

The player count is slowly growing by the days, the small problem for me is that the European players are the ones who really love this game compared to the Americans. But I hope that changes someday..

Of course my friend, usually there is a lobby active during my time 2:30 pm central U.S. most of the players are from Europe so you must catch their lobby when is active. Saturday we have our community event and is packed with people, it starts at 1 PM central U.S. for me. Sunday is also a good time to play as people are playing at the same time as Saturday. Fridays we are aiming to have our lobby active during the night. But yes is worth buying a ps3. Use this to help you see when people are playing psrewired.com

You can join us on Saturday. That’s when the lobbies are full of players. If you are worried about unlocking the classes there is a save file you can use.

Sony has been dropping the ball this generation. Honestly the PS5 is dry of games that are worth buying. Worse part is that Concord got 400 million budget.. imagine if guerilla games had that much money to make a new KZ2.

If the PS5 was backwards compatible with physical disks I’d buy one yesterday. Unfortunately, that isn’t the case. Most of the 1st and 3rd party PlayStation games I’m interested in are from the PS2/3 days, and I can just emulate those (I’ve been playing through the Resistance trilogy and it’s a blast. It’s a shame that Sony cancelled the 4th game. I also recently bought a modded Vita so I can play numerous PS1, PSP, and Vita games. One of my favorites was the PSP port of Ape Escape. Sure, wish I didn’t trade that in back when I was a dumb kid). Outside of a few games like Ratchet and Clank, Octodad, Astrobot, and a few others I’m not really interested in the PS4/5 library, and I can get plenty of games elsewhere. There’s not really an excuse for the lack of backwards compatibility since early models of the PS3 could run a good chunk of the PS1/2 library, the current Xbox is backwards compatible (if you pay $20 for dev mode you install emulators going up to the Wii/PS2), and various Nintendo consoles have some degree of backwards compatibility. Sure, it would be expensive to get working, but hobbyists in their spare time have made the games run really well on other systems AND restored online functionality. It would be so much cheaper than Concord 1, 2, and 3 (making a joke about Fairgame$ inevitably failing if they release it, and it’s up in the air whether or not the Marathon live service will be any good. Sony MASSIVELY overpaid for Bungie. Both Bungie and Halo became complete dumpster fires shortly after parting ways. Speaking of Halo, you can buy MCC on Steam, and it regularly goes on sale for 75% off. It had Halos 1-4, ODST, and Reach. It’s a pretty good deal. From what I’ve heard the multiplayer is currently broken, but I mostly just play PvE content, so that doesn’t impact me because I’m a weirdo). Also, they should’ve remade the Killzone games, instead of remaking Horizon twice (once has Lego, the other as that remaster that mostly just changes the art style and requires a PSN account). Killzone 2/3 would be mostly fine with a graphical enhancement, and making various small changes here and there. The first game would really benefit from a Dead Space/Resident Evil style remake that overhauls various aspects of the original, while keeping it faithful to the spirit of the original.

@@shreksnow1918 so much to dissect. And I agree with all your points. I have a ps5, nothing on that console attracts my attention. Is the same live service games that are promoted and honestly those aren't that great either. All console makers want the revenue, there is no money in emulation. The only reason that Sony is now giving it a thought is because of how piracy is running rampant as the older generation of consoles are gathering a huge active community. The KZ franchise however was a failure so it makes sense why they are sticking with Horizon, plus many of the members that worked on the KZ series are gone. Throw in woke ideologies and you have a good recipe for disaster.

I completely agree, a terrible tactician can really destroy either side. That’s what makes the game unique but also very frustrating.

KZ2 copies are not expensive these days, hopefully you can find one. Or if you have a good powerful PC you can emulate.
