oh yeah... i was watching a youngster cutting some logs for firewood and he had built a jig for his chainsaw to cut exact length .... so i built one too... it's just a metal rod that i screw onto the chain bar but it works real good to prevent sloppy cuts

well, i'm pretty sure that any channel about building/construction that demonstrates/displays their construction progress and their rationale for their construction methodology will receive a ton of "advise and criticisms" (that's a nice term for sh!_ talk)... so i'll just say "git-r-done" is the only thing that you got to think about but most importantly enjoy and celebrate your effort and accomplishments and share the joy and blessings...

Tom, you couldn't be more right about the differences between amateurs and professionals. I always tell my wife, yes, I can do that. It will take me three times longer than if you hire a pro, because I'll do it wrong the first two times and learn all the lessons before I get it right the third time.

I don't remember seeing my father's parents, although his mother saw me. If we come across someone we don't know we can at least give them a smile. I have been surprised when one started off a conversation with my name. Then you are taken into a different world by listening and letting more of yourself out. Really strange, because I am shy. You are right about meeting in church. If only two of you are gathered it only takes 2 minutes for each of you to talk for a minute. Make that three people. If each person talks one minute to each of the others, that's 2 minutes. But it has to be repeated three times. Do you see how big churches leave groups in the corners? One thing I remember was the lady who put everyone's name and contact on a piece of paper and circulated it so we could do other things together. And arrange small prayer groups as required. It is a lot easier for two people to hold a plank level than one and better if someone else knocks the nails in. And it is an opportunity to talk about Jesus, which might be the first that the man knocking in the nails has heard.

In all aspects of life we HAVE to have “knowledge” and this guy here is 100% correct that not just this country but the world has gotten away from the truth (word) of God that’s why we’re in the shape we’re in ! Proverbs 1:7 says The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge:but fools despise wisdom and instruction. Our leaders think they know than God does that’s why they have left him out ! Only thing he said wrong is we’re just 35 trillion dollars in debt not 135 trillion either way neither one of those figures can ever be payed back and when China wants their money they may just decide to take our whole country as payment now that’s the scary part !

Too many Christians are very weak and have got used to others protecting them. The freedoms we have are protected by men and women willing to die for us. This makes it easy for Christians to sit back and not prepare. I don’t think that will always be the case going forward in the future. I pray for no violence but will also do whatever is necessary to protect my wife and family. As a man, I took an oath to do so when I married my wife. Pray for peace but be ready for anything. Every Christian should be a prepper, get a gun and train with it. Also get in shape physically, spiritually and mentally. We need strong MEN in the Church and this country. Learn from history because it always repeats itself. I never thought after WW2, I would see the hatred for the Jews in this country as we have seen this year. Disgusting. We have the opportunity to vote this year. I can’t believe most Christian refrain from the ballot box. Wake up and vote for Godly values.

the most important variable in any struggle/conflict/problem is to affirm your faith in God, thank God for the gifts/strengths/mental tools you have been blessed with.... it's more important to know HOW to survive in any situation than to prepare for any situation ... if you maintain your faith then you'll survive with God's inspiration and the tools which God has blessed you with... when times are tough then focus on God... and in the mean time, hone your skills/knowledge/abilities in order to recover from any calamity (it's fun to learn how to build, make, create, and grow)... watch thiis channel, he's having fun building a house

Great talk! I have a little set back for myself and whoever might need a little help(and a small garden!). As far as self defense goes, I don't have any. I did have a g-n but got rid of it because it is more dangerous to have one and not be able to use it if a situation were to arise, just to have it taken away to be used against another. If someone wants what I have that bad, they can have it, lol! Just have to trust in the Lord to either spare my life or take me home.

I really enjoy a cold beer on occasion, and consuming an alcoholic beverage is always preached about at my church as a sinful act.Yet, people in the body of the church can over indulge themselves in sodas or other overly sweetened beverages becoming overweight and that isn't a sinful act. It hasn't ever made any sense to me. Everything in moderation is how I have always felt.

Speaking of details, in the kitchen it’s a well worth exercise to install blocking all along the perimeter of the wall where cabinets will be hung. A 2x4 so the wide face is towards the wall and still allows room for insulation and wiring. Then when you go to hang cabinets you run two screws top and bottom of each cabinet and you need only worry about the vertical placement.

There is a group of Baptists who keep a seventh day Sabbath. They call themselves "Seventh Day Baptists." They are a small denomination, but they exist and are active. Google it.

Church buildings are pagan temples controlled by the government. Acts 19 : 37 in the King James Bible. These buildings today are not scriptural and are wide open for abuse and infiltrators. My King James Bible clearly teaches that temple worship and sacrifice along with the priesthood were completely abolished by the Lord Jesus Christ at Calvary. Hebrews chapters 7-10.

If you haven't yet, i highly recommend reading Justin Martyr's Apology from the early 2nd century. He details exactly how the early Christians worshipped, within living memory of the Apostles themselves.

I would like to thank you for bringing this up. I have a feeling from what I heard that you are not a "right fighter". You seem to be a truth seeker instead. You are asking many good things here. These points and questions you are presenting are very good. I am a faithful Roman Catholic. I agree that we are all brothers and sisters in the Lord God through Jesus Crhist, in unity with the Holy Spirit. I pray that Jesus blesses you in your thoughts, prayers, and life. You are the kind of brother I could spend many hours conversing with. I can tell that you have the Lord working in you. I pray that Jesus helps you answer your questions. In Holy Mass a while back the Liturgy was about the wheat and the tares. The point that I got from it is that if you try to uproot the tares, the wheat inevitably will be uprooted as well. The best thing is to let it grow to maturity and deal with it come time for the harvest. That doesn't mean we have to tolerate obvious wrongs in the church, we are called to point out and eliminate errors. Some problems in a church are too entangled to completely and correctly identify for man to properly remove, as they can cause some of the faithful to fall away in doing so. My understanding of the tares is that they are not easily distingushable from wheat while they are in the growing phase. Only at harvest time can we properly discern what is wheat and what are tares. Ultimately the Great Harvester will seperate the two because only He knows the true heart of man. It's a merciful thing because, it gives us all time to try to become the wheat that is desired by the lord. That's just my humble take on a point or two you brought up. Churches ignoring the Bible, is the reaso for the multitude of denominations and doctrine, starting with the obsession in controlling God by it's own, non biblical Lord's day. The corrupted list, started there, now it's a false gospel, a trinity doctrine, the only difference in the so called, reformation, is less costumes and funny hats. According to Revelation, Christianity ends up a remnant that keeps the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus Christ. Rev. 12:17. Churches ignoring the Bible.

Jeremiah 2: 11~13 pretty much sums up the current spiritual health and status of the "intuitional ecclesiastical church system." The "spirit of the "Zeit-geist" has not only captured it, but those captivated by it love it so. I'm pretty sure the statement once made by "Jesus" concerning the "Church" is reality even today. He said; "Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom."

I saw this developmental possibly when I was young and this furthered my search, I became Catholic.

When will Christianity figure out, it has been corrupted long before our birth? Scripture is the firewall to fraud. Ask for the gospel, you get a lengthy, complicated, need for a savior rocket science, instead of the simple gospel. Mk. 1:14-15. The Sabbath. Where is the command for Sunday? Mt. 22:36-40, Is the ten commandments. The trinity. No clear unambiguous statement that God, is 3 persons, yet surmised by men, and forced as a doctrine.
