ESTA is NOT a tourist Visa it is a visa waiver programme Also you can go in to the application and update where you are staying at a later date if you return in the validated period.

Just dropped off right at the terminal that should be £7 but the barriers just opened. Tried paying by holding my card against the machine but not sure if it took my money or not. Very confused if it's free, or have I paid or am I going to get a pcn?

I used this parking today and can confirm it is free and still at service, i was there only for 10 mins dropped off my nephew and returned, gates opened automatically and no charge, thank you for this great video.

I WON MY APPEAL..........I recently dropped off my son at Heathrow airport T3 and a few days later I received a penalty notice indicating the £5.00 drop off charge was not paid within 24 hours. I either had to pay £40.00 right away or this would be doubled after two weeks. I decided to appeal and stated that I never knew there was a drop off charge as there never used to be one and that it was a very overcast and rainy day. A few days later, I received an email reply from them indicating my appeal was unsuccessful and went through all the reasons why, but further down the page, they quoted the following, 'On this occasion we are prepared to exercise our discretion and accept the £5.00 payment due as settlement of Parking Charge Notice'.

No one is against this robbing....that makes me more surprised.

Okay, 10:30 this is crazy. I havent even booked the flight or my hotel yet? How would I know? And this should last for 2 years. So I have to visit the same place and country for 2 years? basically, thats what they want me ti do? Or is it just a stupid question?

Worst stressful experience filling out this new-fangled form! Because their system won't let you type in lower case, yahoo will not accept the email entry needed to get a security code. I had to change my browser from safari to firefox, and use another e-mail address! Instead of the 20-30 minute time with the old form, this new one took 2 days, with 2 phone calls to their "help" desk, which yielded nothing. Even their online complaint form doesn't work either! I then phoned apple support which was really good. This new system is a time waster!

It's hard to believe, but I had a similar experience recently. I accidentally ended up in the long stay car park instead of using the *Express Parking* area at the drop-off. They hit me with an £80 charge, even though I was only there for about 5 minutes. Express Parking sounds like a much better option!
