Even with the thumbnail I was not expecting irl kigu, lmao You’re playing well, you already do stuff at a level above Diamond like going for meaties, whiff punishing, forcing a strike/throw mix off a DRC, and challenging fake stuff. Biggest thing would be to not let people jump at you too much, but I imagine you’ve already observed the same thing. Keep grindin’!

Haha that Ed whiffing that throw highlights the usual inexperience of players in Silver to Platinum rank. When you are on burnout, the frames you last on block stun are higher so that makes your opponent's block string last longer, and you can't throw during a block string, that's why he whiffed it. If you hadn't been on burnout his throw wouldn't have whiffed. Anyway, that cosplay looks AWESOME.

I can share some shenanigans. When you do 214HK, you're negative, , and people jab after it 80% you can try to mash parry and you'll get perfect parry. Do it once per round because if they see you parry after this they will throw you. After some rounds, when the opponent is used to the classic 2PP > K, 2LP-2LP,LK, you can do this instead 2PP > K, 2LP-2LP, 2PP P+K (command throw). I use it when I have already a high damage scaling, to reset. If you get mashed a lot, sliiiightly delay 2PP >K to get a counter and link MP. In this patch, DR 2MK links with HK, it's powerful tool because Aki Drive Rush is quite fast
