Got a .350 Legend this year for a local PA county (Allegheny) that allows us to use straight walls cartridges. Got a doe about this big maybe a bit larger with it opening morning of rifle season and it dropped it on the spot but didn't do nearly the damage my '06 or .270 would have done. Blood three feet up the trees is just crazy but I believe it.

You have to pull both the mag release levers down at the same time to release the mag . If you only pull one lever down you could break the mag release 😢

I have a Honda WT30X and WT40X I got for 300 for the pair on marketplace, I found the best way to deal with those discharge hoses is to run a suction hose to deal with the curves and then hook that flat hose to the end of that to get a nice straight run that's easy to manipulate some. That mud is the worst part of dealing with all of that

They are more efficient if you run them at 1/3 throttle. If you run it wide open it doesn’t move more gpm it just increases the pressure. You will use less fuel and move the same amount.

Funny story, I have a Honda WT30X and a WT40X and the 40 at idle outpaces the 30 wide open quite a bit. So there may be something to that.

I don’t know man I would probably pull the video that’s ridiculous unethical and gives hunters like me a bad name🤷🏻♂️ Sleep on that
@Saltyoar Жыл бұрын
I slept on it. I’ll leave it up. That tag is filled. Deer ran 24 yards. Does a 30 yard shot that kills a deer die differently than a 92? Let me know if you know something I don’t. If you hunt you take a risk EVERY-TIME you shoot. 😂 I can bet you have never lost or wounded a deer. This one was recovered without a problem.

@@Saltyoar not a very good video. Definitely an irresponsible shot. Get your $hit together.

@@Saltyoar furthermore, I didn’t see the deer at the end of the short 🤷🏻♂️ did you harvest it
@Saltyoar Жыл бұрын
@@brianjones866 YES! Went a whole 24 yards. On a real note that Ravin is zooming at 512fps I am using a 450fps rated target and burying bolts to the fletching at 100 yards. It was a calculated shot. I would never intentionally wound one of those critters. I spend half my life working land to provide for them. BUT unfortunately we have to harvest 50+ in the next 2 months or a permit will be issued. You know how that works. They warden will come out and shoot everything and leave it laying for the buzzards. The deer herd is way out of control and eating everything the farmers plant.

This or your cva scout? I'm torn between the two!
@Saltyoar Жыл бұрын
Depends on the state or if you use it for hunting. They both shoot near the same. The scout is a single shot (used for primitive in Mississippi). If I did not have a concern of number of round it will hold I would go Ruger. It’s a little nicer and you can put whatever AR may you want to use in it.
