Why don't you post the # of out of state hunters and the # of in state hunters. Also post the amount of $$$$ that was taken in from each of them . Then the good folks of Virginia would see where the money comes from. But what really would be nice if the Wildlife Department of Virginia could account for each one of those dollars spent. Why did they need the 3rd set of Antlers back ? They said he had killed 3 deer and he legally turned in one deer and 2 deer wasn't legally turned in. So if he legally registered that other deer in then they had no legal rights to the legal killed and legal registered deer. At least that was my understanding of it And i can understand them wanting the two poached deer heads back. But they did say he killed one deer legally that year, he just didn't didn't turn in the 2 poached deer. If that was the case what this officer said, then the 3rd Deer head was legally the poachers legal harvest.

I would bet my dad poached turkeys in your state, i would say he did all through the 90s, yall couldnt catch a traveling salesman, he hunted all over the eastern US, he would have gone broke just buying hunting licenses in all the states he hunted. He just made friends with old hunters everywhere, they would drop him off and pick him up, those old guys loved it
