Man nice video. I play eve from 14 years alredy and we got no tutorials back then. I think the new generation is not made foe this game and thats why population of this game go down. The new players get bored fast, they like trolling games were they dont need to use much of their brain. I will play this game util my eyes let me move the mouse and use the keyboard. people griefing and wasting your time for no reasons: "Oh it's funny to be bullied by 30 people!!" Ah yeah sure. Finished the tutorial, did my first jump to a new solar system, security was pretty High since I was still basically around the tutorial area. As soon as I arrived I got almost insta killed by some random people that were there just to "have fun" which in their small brains means "kill new player as soon as they are out of tutorial". Uninstalled forever and that's it. Nice game, i guess.

Don't play it. Watch the recent dev talks and you just get this vibe that its just a money maker. No smiles no laughing just a black void like there game

they key to eve is finding players to do stuff with. Nullsec alliances are where the game really opens up. decent mechanical review, but he misses what is actually going on with the playerbase. eve is a social game and whole documentaries have been written about only that aspect. 20$ a month does not describe the mature player either. when i quit i ran 7-9 accounts on loadup. each needing to be either subscribed, or plex purchased with ISK every month. i understand not everyone goes that far, but it is common to have more than one account.

The biggest problem in EVE is all the afk'ing, botting and multi-accounting so it feels like you are all alone in space usually. This is also why actual player count actually has drastically gone down in the game despite "online accounts" staying kind of level.

I played Eve for sixteen years, never subbing for more than a month because I was always about to leave. Former dev CCP Soundwave used to boast that "no-one leaves Eve" but it is possible. I'm two years clean... pray for me.

ED is great in so many ways, but the decision to adhere to "realistic" space travel physics still results in catastrophically long travel times - and that's always been the Achilles heel of this game. New players logging in, taking a mission then seeing that it will take 20+ actual minutes to travel to their end point (intra-system) is an absolute dealbreaker. Sure, not all systems are that big, but many are massive - and the travel times are atrocious. For all its faults, when you're doing long distance travel in Star Citizen, you can still walk around your ship, rearrange cargo etc. In this case, you're cockpit-locked and just traversing. I love ED - but that will always limit this game's appeal to more casual players.

Hey man i love NW so much but i had to quit when the DLC came out cuz i couldnt afford it and playing without it is pointless. Tell me is the game worth playing still i mean is the community and playerbase alive? Thats what i care the most about cuz i love the game itself and i love the pvp system

ive played a fair bit of eve since 2006, but now 20$ a month is too much. it would make sense if I could spend quite a bit of time in the game, but i don’t think i can. This relatively expensive price keeps only the hardcore players in the game, which i believe is one of the main issues with the game itself.

As a father with rpg and board game groups, as well as tons of varied creative interests, i would just never be able to invest the time. If i cant pick it up and put it down easily, getting meaningful gaming experiences out of a two to three hour session, then it is not the game for me.

This fixed my game shuddering. I don’t know why, but it did. Thank you! I still get fps drops but I can live with that since it’s hardware related. This shuddering appeared for no apparent reason and I almost stopped playing because of it.

I tried for over 12 hours just to play the intro levels and I got stuck on 3/5 for the first mission. Having to get something with probes. The game I found didn't explain it well at all and like I said, I tried for close to 12 hours on that one mission. The learning curve felt too steep and lacked any help. I went through the help system and found out how to launch the probe, launched all 8 at once and still didn't do a thing. Then I was left with no probes, couldn't complete the mission, couldn't get the probes back, etc. Just writing all of this out I feel the anger and frustration that I was having with the game. I really, really wanted to give it a chance, it looks stunning, but if I couldn't complete even the basic beginner's quest, what would be the point?

I tried to play this game so many times.. but always I get bored at the end.. really is a game to be played watching netflix and other stuff even tho if u are doing whatever apart of pvp of course.. I mean.. kind of boring to be honest =(.. I have seem for the past 20 years all the videos from players trying to show things u have to do in the game but lets be honest.. all of them say that we didnt even scratch the surface of the game.. but come on.. so show me.. because all the videos I watched past 20 years show me the same things.. Mine.. worm wholes.. and all these things that this guy showed in this video and something more that is no big deal.. just boring stuff.. I am still waiting to this date to see what is is about when people say YOU DIDNT EVEN SCRATCH THE SURFACE.. what is that? hidden content nobody want to show on youtube? ahh come on
