I assume tripping on drugs is what some people think of when listening to this song, but most of us usually think of a certain sea sponge flipping burgers and feeding them to anchovies.

TLDR: Adam, please consider Andy Hull for your podcast. Long version: Hi Adam, I did stalk you briefly after your Cardiff show earlier this year to sort of vaguely suggest in a roundabout sort of way that you might consider getting Andy Hull off of Manchester Orchestra on the pod. On your most recent podcast at time of writing with Colm Tóibín you highlighted that you liked to get people on that not everybody has necessarily heard of, and indeed you have hosted many non-mainstream musical acts over the years. Manchester Orchestra seem to get a raw deal off of UK radio (which I've completely given up on), not even getting a handful of plays on those stations that claim to be alternative or eclectic in their output. MO have done a load of collaborations with other musical artists and art artists over the years, but apparently their most popular song remains a cover of their song The Gold by Phoebe Bridgers. I'm sure you're aware they did the soundtrack on the film Swiss Army Man. You mentioned the Simple Math video which I believe was by the same director. Andy's been on a few podcasts, but most recently he's been on the Mark and Me (UK) podcast twice in the last year or so if you wanted some background listening. I can probably point you at some others if you wanted me to but I'm pretty sure your research skills are up to the job. There's tons of extra material on their Patreon, not least their own podcast which releases somewhat sporadically. Thanksforreadingloveyoubyeeee!
