It’s a great rom hack, I just don’t use the none wrestling guys, if he had just made it full of real wrestlers then it would have been the greatest no mercy rom hack ever.

I remember renting Narc for NES and taking it back the same night. There was no way a Nintendo gme could be THIS bad, I thought. I hadn't played the arcade game before. Fast forward 30 years later and I realize the NARC gamne for NES is a very competent port of the arcade game, and probably a WAY better port than it really could have been. It's still a terrible NES game, but as an arcade port, it's shockingly close.

We rented some similar games. Adventures of Lolo, Little Nemo, Mickey Mousecapades, Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle, Roger Rabbit, GunSmoke., Adventures in the Magic Kingdom, Gauntlet... And of course... My favorite that I didn't own until a year ago Simon's Quest. That was my first introduction to Castlevania and still my favorite NES Castlevania. I hate that I missed out on gems like Air Fortress and Clash at Demon head until I was an adult.

3 yrs later…my favorite game was River Raid. It was a test of patience. My second favorite is not on the list….Chopper Command. I too played a ton of frogger, Missile Command, and Space Invaders. All the classics!

The activations games were good: Pitfall, Kaboom, Crackpot, and Keystone Kapers were my favorites!

you Air Fortress story is pretty epic! I had a deli next door to where I lived as a kid. Every week I would go and rent a game. They always had Air Fortress, some sports games, and Gotcha. I thought they all looked lame, but all the games I wanted were always rented out! So I sacrificed my weeks rental on Air Fortress one time. And I was AMAZED at how good it was! Sountrack, 10/10. Suspense, 10/10. Gameplay, 10/10. It was the first game I bought at a convention last year when I picked up another NES :)

Yeah and there's also an NES cartridge that plays MP3s. And there's an Atari cartridge with Wi-Fi. Why not just put a Raspberry Pi in a cartridge and just use the NES for the AV output.
