Shadowgate is one of my top10 fave games on NES, i had my eyes on this game from the moment the demo dopped and then............nothing. Even Steam didn't send me a message about this but i found reviews for it here on youtube and i jumped in and snatched it. I am just glad i had funds in my wallet for it. Gonna be a fun time playing this.

I recently played through Shadowgate for Game Boy/GBC. That was really fun. Lucky, I had never bothered with the NES version. But now, there is only one other (set of) Macventure games on GBC left, Déjà Vu 1+2 (together o one cart).

This is quite similar in some ways to Shadowgate 64.. you had to use a bone at one point in that game as well to escape.
