Alorica only paid me 12k a month here in Davao City. I was there for 3 years. I should have left in a year and pursued freelancing. Naka bili na sana ako ng bahay at lupa ngayon at kotse.

because of the language proficiency difference, filipinos adhere more to business processes as they can express themselves more in english

ok, without watching the video first, I have firsthand experience with outsourcing in India (no, I am not Indian). I worked in the IT industry in the US and a few years ago, the company I worked for (which I will not name) decided that outsourcing our NOC (Network Operations Center) monitoring during nighttime to India. this was decided by management even though our company already had a small satellite office in the Manila. we interviewed managerial candidates in India (remotely via video conferencing) and then flew them to the US for a few weeks of training. we sent them back to India to set up the new location, hire new personnel, etc. after two months, we went live with the new NOC monitoring operations location in Mumbai. after a couple of weeks, we started running into problems. we couldn't get enough people on shift during religious holidays, which are many in India, so we had to cover those night with our US NOC Operators (so we still needed to keep skeleton personnel in the US at night) then after a few more weeks, we started losing personnel since they were being recruited by larger companies after getting some experience at our expense. then our executives in the US also started having problems since the language barrier was also an obstacle. yes, English is spoken in India, but the accent was a little hard to understand for many of our executives and since we already have a Manila office, the executives were well aware that the Philippine workers were more fluent in English in regard to their accent. in summary, India, at that time, appeared to have been a better choice for our company on paper, but in practice it was a failure and we ended up closing that satellite office. this is just our company's experience, I'm sure there are other companies that have had great success outsourcing to India (I actually know quite a few).

Well US IT is well dependent on Indians. And they have a lot of Doctors in US. They are very well established in US and most of the US companies CEO now are Indians. Most of them came to US on a student visa and you guys have no idea how competitive to obtain this visa from INDIA. In this case Filipinos are already a mismatch.

buwagin ang DepEd at DOST dahil bobo sa teknolohiya ang pilipino puro walang silbi mga subjects na itinuturo sa elementary highschool to college mag research kayo, hindi bat dapat ifocus sa technology lahat ng curiculum para maging manufacturing country tayo, technology will generate more works/jobs increase human productivity that will generate money in the philipines by exporting our manufactured products made in the Philipines through-out the world and increase self-suficiency to lessen importing goods from other countries. thru technology we can invented machineries that will improve our agriculture sectors and even our oil exploration and production. pansinin nyo lahat ng produkto dto pilipinas ay made in china yung shoppee palang, made in japan taiwan korea and western countries etc. importing country tayo bumibili tayo sa ibang bansa hindi tayo ang nagbebenta, yung man power ng bansa ay nakatengga bcoz of the absence of jobs dahil walang silbi ang mga pulitiko at govrnt officials lalo na ang DepEd at DOST na wala talagang kasilbi-silbi, kaya sa buong mundo nananatiling pinaka mahirap ang pilipinas ang buhay ng bawat pilipino at hihirap pa yan lalo dahil sa pag usbong ng artificial intelligence Ai 117million pilipino mawawalan ng trabaho sa BPO service sector na tanging pinagkukunan ng pondo ng pilipinas. ang problema sa politicians ay papasok lang sa gobyerno para magnakaw and without dedication, in their 6years term ang focus ng isipan nila ay paspasang mkpag-nakaw!. mass production, machinery, technology ang dapat na isulong at pangunahan ito ng DOST at DepEd, ituro mula grade 1 ang kahalagahan ng teknolohiya para mas manguna tayo sa magandang pamumuhay katulad ng japan korea china taiwan germany france uk etc marangya pamumuhay nila why? dahil exporting country sila kinukuha nila yung perang umiikot sa buong mundo sakanila napupunta malaking porsyento nun at nagagamit nila ito kaya marangya buhay nila. ang isinusulong ng mga kurakot na pulitiko ay more and more OFW isabak sa pagiging alipin ang mga pilipino maski sa sariling bansa natin kung magpasahod ang mga foreign companies o business dito pilipinas ay sobrang liit na pasahod karamihan below minimum pa, grapa sobra pa mangurakot mga congressmen, dpwh boc lahat ng government officials paspasan mangurakot

I generally find the Filipino approach better than Indians especially with call help desks. Filipinos are more emphatic and kinder - there's something in Indian culture that makes Indians more process oriented but somehow lesser in "taking care" of clients.. As for accents, Filipino English is way more easier to comprehend than Indian English...which exacerbates the poorer service sadly

i think Indians have more leaders because they are more strict with following processing. As I noticed most Filipinos easily bend processes just to resolve an issue and to help people. In business it is still best to be strict in following processes. Rules are created for a reason
