One of the most informative videos I’ve found for primers!!!

My face hate silicone, and it lets my dry skin show dryness. I like authentic Korean primers. I found they have top notch skin care.

3 years later and I still learned soo much from this vidoe. Thank you! I’m a pcos girl too and my makeup was slidinggggg lol! I’m just now learning that I was not using the proper primers & foundations. I was using mostly water based products and I was sliding within 2 hours. This was so informative I’m ordering the right products right now! Thanks again!

Great video! I saw that Reddit spreadsheet too and thought the same as you - “This is great!” Then started reading it 😂 Where was the forum with the chemists breaking it down? I would be interested in seeing it if it’s still up! Did you do the other videos in this series? I looked through your videos and didn’t see them but I could have missed them! I’m wondering your thoughts on water-based, silicone-infused? Have you heard of that? Like there were a few foundations that people seemed split on - half say silicone based, half say water based. Then, some comment I saw on Reddit said they were actually water-based but silicone-infused. She gave an explanation that made a lot of sense. Like NARS Sheer Glow. The second ingredient is a silicone, but it’s water-based, which even NARS says it is. It even has more silicones later in the ingredient list (6th, 7th, 8th, 10th, and 11th). So, that confused the heck out of me! 😂 2 other ones people seem to be split on is Too Faced Born This Way foundation and MAC Studio Fix Fluid. Too Faced one has water then silicone but then there aren’t any more silicones until the 7th ingredient. So, if it’s a real thing, I’d say this is a water-based, silicone-enhanced foundation. MAC Studio Fix Fluid has water as 1st and silicones as 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and 6th. There are also silicones further down the ingredient list (5 of them). Having 3 of the silicones in the first 5 ingredients, I’d say this is silicone-based. But, it has fluid in the name making me think it’s more water based? Anyways, I can see why people are confused by those 😂 Sorry this is so long! Would love to hear your thoughts! ❤️ EDIT- I found your water based video 😊

Having a serious issue too. Ive been wearing makeup since 12.. im 43. Clinique girl all my life seriously. 3 step program. Ive gone from combo skin to oily then as i aged back to combo skin. I just learned the smashbox primer i have been using for the past two years is why my even better foundation is seperating after a few hours. Yea didnt know about the silicone thing so now im trying to find a clinique foundation to use with my smashbox. And trying to find a primer to use with my even better water based foundation. And the clinique primer sucks. Leaves a white film and changes the colors of the foundation. Why does this have to be so difficult.?

Would u please do a what's in it video for colourstay foundation oil/combo skin. I have found that this foundation actually lasts on my skin and I've never had another foundation last as well. But I am concerned about wats in it that makes it last. Thank you for your videos they r very helpful and informative.
