I knew from the very first few seconds that she was skating to Janet Jackson’s hidden opera gem “This Time” from her 1992 album “if”. What a perfect empowering song for her to skate to. The lyrics tell the story of a woman taking back her power from scorned love. It works perfectly for Amber because it’s like she’s letting her inner demons know “Enough!” I’m taking back my power and claiming my love for skating on my terms. ❤️‍🩹✨

So sad. This sport is declining . Russian Novice skaters have better jumps , spins and choreography . Only some Japanese , some Korean skaters now few Chinese skaters have cleaner jumps. We love to see this sports advancing like all other sports.

Firebird such a classic but risky choice and man she delivered .Look at wonderful jump technique she lifts into the air what a change in today’s skaters .She was wonderful everything was there I dotted etc .I wish Sarah the best and old skating geeks like me it’s so great to see a suprise something fresh and beautiful Bravo!

Awesome! That's the best I've seen her skate in a couple of seasons. That music is perfect for her. She seems to really connect with it. She skated with great speed and power. I hope she has a good season. Thanks jgl.
