This is beautiful stuff. I always loved this band and this movie. Can any kind souls out there remind me of when each of these songs appeared in the movie? I just recognize the one for the final match with Shute.

Fun fact: The composers, Akihito Okawa and Hozo Okazaki, both worked on Mister Mosquito. They've also done solo projects. Okawa worked Zero Divide and Okazaki worked on TinyWars.

Unfortunately, this album has been completely buried because of this age, but the songs themselves are very orthodox and full of universal melodies that are common in the 50s and 60s if the backing tracks are replaced. Now is the time to re-evaluate!

I'll never forget hearing what I later learned was "Burning in the Third Degree" in the Tech Noir scene. A chill ran up my spine. I had to find the full song. I was lucky enough to purchase the soundtrack on CD, but I never knew there were more songs out there by Tahnee Cain and Tryanglz. Thank you so much for putting this together.

It makes me wonder how many takes did it take for them to get this scene right? I'm sure there were moments where Tim Allen and Molly Shannon (Tracy in this clip) where they cracked up laughing where they wasn't supposed to or made mistakes while filming this scene. It just makes me wonder how many takes did it take for them to get it right and also how long did it take for them to film this scene?

Blood Shower is the score I've wanted to hear for decades. A most beautiful score for a what many might consider the most tragic scene of the film.

My god how that area has changed since 1987. I worked in the pentagon while I was in the military. Watching this video makes me realize how fast apartment buildings and shopping malls now cover the surrounding areas.
