No comments? Well. It is a good product but also the software you use. I won't name any names. But I have found the one software really easy to use. And that makes a huge difference. If you can import a svg file..(mine happens to be cnc) and set your parameters..to cut inside..outside and depth or power of cut. The only thing that could hold anyone back is their imagination! You can do anything! Good luck.

Does the 23 still have the Quick Tool Change spindle option?
@shopsabre8 күн бұрын
@@raymondrafalski2840 No, ShopSabre discontinued the sales of this option as the long term performance was found to be limiting in addition to the speed of the tool changes was not all that much quicker than our standard process in large part because of our Tool Height Measuring technology that comes standard on all 23 models.

What are you using to hide the exposed fasteners on the sides on the tall utility cabinets?

You can do a few different things. Either put them out of sight, bury them in counterbores, use a plug or place another item next to the cabinet so they're unseen.

Why don't people use peg board? Just seems like to would have plenty of holes but more concentrated pull. I'm not a CNC guy yet, just looking into it.
@shopsabre28 күн бұрын
Great question! It comes down to the airflow efficiency, porosity of the material, durability and customization. Pegboard is more susceptible to warping too. Welcome to the CNC journey! There's a lot to learn but we're glad to help.
@tableshaper407628 күн бұрын
@@shopsabre When I get a CNC I"m going to try it. I think glueing a sheet of 1/4" peg board to a sheet of 3/4" mdf that has been surfaced on both sides and then surfacing the top of the glued down 1/4" peg board would be ideal? Then once you have worn down the peg board you just glue another on. The trick is to apply the glue to the peg board so the glue doesn't seal the peg board holes on the 3/4" mdf. And not to surface the glued down side of the peg board. Please try before I do, it could be a while before I get a CNC. Most likely a Shop Sabre although being Canadian it will be more difficult to obtain. But I've done a tonne of research and I just think you guys are the ticket.

Great testament, but no intro from Router Bob? Will Shopsabre be showing a video of a Pro408 modified for a vertical joinery table?
@shopsabreАй бұрын
We don’t have a vertical joinery option, while some customers have customized their machines to do this it’s not factory solution. The majority of the use is done with flat processing utilizing and for jointer commonly the dovetail kits or pod style material holding is used

Fiber lasers are excellent and far better than Plasma cutters. Why don't you guys offer fibre laser cnc Machine
@shopsabreАй бұрын
Well that’s kind of a blanket statement - Fiber lasers are great in many ways but they have limitations too where plasma makes more sense. Depending on the application there are times when someone would say the opposite about the two. Just like plasma has limitations so does fiber lasers. For one, plasma is far more affordable for many applications and far less regulated making it much easier to install in everyday applications. Plasma and fiber lasers both exist for a reason in harmony, they both have their pros and cons which are application and budget specific

That birds nesting on the shank causing marks on surface is no bueno. This material is tricky
@shopsabreАй бұрын
Correct, ideally for a production process or product you would use a chip blower and dust extraction so this would help eliminate this from happening but for the project itself, those marks would not effect the way this product would be installed and you would not see it.

I could have purchased other domestic or international manufacturers... But the ShopSabre customer service & tech support is what drove the choice to purchase my cnc from them. Never regretted it once❗️❗️❗️
