Hi! This was a few years ago now so maybe they've had some renovations since I was there. I didn't personally see the accomodation but lots of my friends said the rooms weren't well maintained (issues with mould, broken utilities) and my colleagues pre-warned me it was quite far from the students union and other social places on campus. It also apparently didn't have as much of a community vibe compared to the other accomodations. Again, all indirect experience but I loved my time at RC4 and so glad I stayed there!

Very light stuff! It’s tropical weather so shorts, vest tops, flip flops. The aircon inside though is very cold so do take a jumper. Don’t forget swim stuff as great pool on campus and beaches around the city!

@@thewindmilf4977 I wore light jeans going out at night but too hot for me during the day! I wore shorts pretty much everywhere in the day.

You’re going to be cleaning tanks most of the time, as well as doing data entry and writing/publishing reports. You might just want to reconsider being a professional mermaid at a starting wage of $8.00 an hour 😂😂😂

I would like to ask if this program is competitive or not, cuz I have a low gpa (2.6/4.0). I have some research experience, however, and my supervisor is willing to give me a recommendation letter. I spent the first two years of my PhD (Biology) in that accommodation, I moved out just over a year ago - it is really lovely but when I there it was sooooo noisy. Couldn’t sleep or rest. Moved down onto the docks. Hope it’s much better for you!
