Would you still cook these the same today? Cause for the sake of saying that chitterings are clean ppl have been removing all of the membrane which is unnecessary. If you can remove debris without removing the membrane do that. You boiled all of the fat and flavor out of these chitterlings.😂 You can marinate the cleaned chitterlings in Italian dressing overnight to take away the smell.

Add bbq sauce for smokiness and spiciness.
