This is the first of your videos I’ve seen, and it was awesome! Will definitely be watching more. I’ve always had a general understanding of Modernism, but this video gave me some much-needed perspective and clarity.

Thanks for the recommendation - yes I've had lots of people reach out about me doing AIC, but I don't think I'll be prioritising this text because I'd like to explore texts/authors which are also studied by non-GCSE Eng Lit students :) If you wanted specific help on this you can email me at [email protected]

Video Requests this might be a bit niche for a level english literature but could you consider maybe looking at one of the Bronte sisters novels
@JenChan3 күн бұрын
Hi - thanks for the suggestion! If you want to make specific video requests check out my membership program :) But yes, Bronte is potentially a good topic...!

Overall, this is a good analysis. However, the audio is a little squeaky-sounding. It may be the accent or the echo in the background. The voice pitch could be more comfortable to listen to.

I absolutely love this. "Tyger Tyger burning bright in the forests of the night". It's complete. He really didn't have to say much afterwards. Excellent analysis.

Thanks for watching! It’s such an incredible poem right? So much power in what’s otherwise seemingly simple language. 🤩🔥🫡

Could you please do a video on how to prepare for a level literature. I have just finished my gcse exams and i begin yr. 12 in September. I heard lots of people saying that English literature is a very tough subject at a level and there is a very big jump. It would be great if u could make a video on how to cope with the transition or things to expect. Maybe also how to structure essays at a level lit or something like that etc. Your videos are so so helpful and your analysis is always so unique compared to any other youtubers. 💗❤🥰🥰💕💓💜

Would it be possible to request videos analysis John Steinbeck's "The Grapes of Wrath". I'm going into OCR A-level and am required to compare "The Great Gatsby" and/or "The Grapes of Wrath" to a text from a list of American novels.

This is fantastic, these and the other Gatsby videos really provide more perceptive and less traditional interpretations of the novel that a lot of other videos on the site do not. I have my a level exam about Gatsby tomorrow and wish to say thank you as these videos have been so helpful!

Hi Jen, this was absolutely amazing! I just wanted to let you know that you are absolutely brilliant. You have helped so many and we appreciate your support. Please can you kindly do a theoretical, contextual and linguistic analysis of A Raisin in the Sun Lorraine Hansberry, Wife of Bath Geoffrey Chaucer, The Picture of Dorian Grey by Oscar Wilde and Beloved by Toni Morrison. Many thanks in advance...
