Honestly I’m so excited for everyone this season except agbaji and Scottie’s nepotism homie, idk what it is but I have a pretty good feeling Ochai will blossom into the most middifully mid flower in the Toronto raptor metaphorical garden

@Braktooth8 сағат бұрын
I just want to see some development from the young guys. Gradey doing things other than shooting is something I thought he would be capable of, and seeing some of that in preseason is nice.

I'm really excited to see what this guy turns into. Kid moves like a Gazelle and a 7'4 span to boot! Given we lost Koloko, it's good to have another Giannis type on the 905 roster. Cameroon has become a hot bed for talent. I wonder who comes outta there next.

Just happy that 6,9 vision is gone. It was an idea, but back in the day Isaiah Thomas tried something similar with the Raps... promise but no payoff. So i like the balanced approach to a team now. Moved to Korea so really love the post game podcast!

Cade Vs Scottie debate is always interesting. Undoubtedly Scotties been better but undoubtedly Scotties had more help. But to act like our raps team has been good in a 25 win season is strange. Can't have it both ways. Scotties been carrying the raptors and shoring up his weaknesses

I hear you. Or they could build a proper team through the draft like OKC.
@LockedOnRaptors4 күн бұрын
following the OKC model is not possible unless they fall into a gigantic windfall by accident in a trade, which isn't happening. the thunder are what they are because Paul George wanted to go to LA and Kawhi held the Clips over a barrel.

Optimistically, the underdog mentality motivates all these young players to get better and play team basketball. Even so, there's some key pieces missing for this team to even think of being a good NBA team. As composed, the gamble is scorers can really improve on D and high level defenders get way better at scoring. Big hole at the 4, Mogbo could be decent someday but there needs to be a trade (or two) to balance this out. No reliable back up C, some questions still about back up PG. I like a whole bunch of these development players, but that's exactly what teams who win less than 30 games say.

Sean preaching the facts. You can tell the other hosts haven’t been watching any Raptors basketball. They’re easily the best team out of this group and to say the pistons have a brighter future is ridiculous. Cade is great but Scottie has more accolades so far and to say he can’t lead a team before he’s even had a chance to prove that is disrespectful and shows a lack of knowledge on the team and sport as a whole. Sean spitting facts as always
@danh.owdoyoudo7 күн бұрын
Boucher / Kelly for off the bench doesn’t suck, though it means zero big guy development. Their skills complement each other. Fernando was a tire fire, though he’s young-ish, so maybe he can be developed, but he’s almost the second coming of Byombo. Mogbo has flashes of promise but seems it would be better if he could be a bigger wing than a centre.
@LockedOnRaptors7 күн бұрын
I think Mogbo has the build to be a bunch of different things and I think the next couple years are about figuring out exactly how to best use him. Personally, I'd love to see some bench looks with Scottie-Kelly-Mogbo as the front court. Feels like they can cover for each others weaknesses and complement each others strengths pretty well.

Man i agree with scottie at 3 or 4. I prefer him at the 4 but scottie absolutely is a point guard. I just dont like him guarding other pg because i think that just an inefficient use of his talent but offensively scottie is a point guard. We have iq to play off scottie as shooter secondary playmaker or as pg when scottie aint in the game. The only negative thing i can say with scottie is that he tends to be a little passive looking to set others up when i think sometimes be got to be more aggressive and look for his own a little more
