Some helpful ideas and useful advice - leaning into strengths, and going with tailoring if needed. My biggest struggle is too much material from shoulder to bust, everything would fit me better if I could take off an inch or two on the shoulder seam! But that is not an easy mend because the armhole has to be dealt with, whereas hemming pants or skirt length is rather easy. I look forward to seeing more of your ideas and learning which shops make petite things that actually work for us. Me - 5' tall, 114#, medium bust (so I'm not a skinny waif either). My proportions are good but fit is certainly a challenge!

I have that Ba&sh jacket and I’m 5ft tall. I changed the silver buttons to gold and it’s great for wearing over dresses to posh events. More in petite clothing, please.

The black one with the wildflower bouquet print is my favorite. Sadly they don't sell it anymore. Been looking all over Depop, Vestiaire etc. for the Bea skirt in this particular print. Someday I will succeed 😄

I'm so tired of this whole masculine. Feminine thing I am who I am. I'm a very girly girl that doesn't mean someone is not feminine? Because they're not like me or what I like, or what I don't like is feminine or masculine. It is just what I like... These labels are self up and judgmental, where you can't step out and do something different because you don't want to be masculine, so you can't wear sandals, that is insane... Where would you like and what you like is what you like? And you don't need a label to determine what you like..

Yes, your shape had changed slightly so a couple of alterations and you could be rocking all of those again! I just love seeing the quality of the workmanship in the clothing back then.
