The 3 biggest issues for dressing as a petite woman

Some helpful ideas and useful advice - leaning into strengths, and going with tailoring if needed. My biggest struggle is too much material from shoulder to bust, everything would fit me better if I could take off an inch or two on the shoulder seam! But that is not an easy mend because the armhole has to be dealt with, whereas hemming pants or skirt length is rather easy. I look forward to seeing more of your ideas and learning which shops make petite things that actually work for us. Me - 5' tall, 114#, medium bust (so I'm not a skinny waif either). My proportions are good but fit is certainly a challenge!
