യഥാർത്ഥ ക്രിസ്തു ദാസനായി വിടവാങ്ങിയ മനുഷ്യ സ്‌നേഹി...! മതം എവിടെ കൊള്ളണം എവിടെ തള്ളണം എന്ന് വ്യക്തമായി മനസിലാക്കിയ മനുഷ്യൻ ഉമ്മൻ ചാണ്ടി. സഭയിലെ ബിഷപ്പ് മാരും, അച്ഛന്മാരും ബഹുമാന്യനായ ഉമ്മൻചാണ്ടിയെ ഇത്രയേറെ അധിക്ഷേപിച്ചു ? അവസരം കിട്ടിയപ്പോൾ എന്ത് നെട്ടത്തിനും വേണ്ടി ഉമ്മൻചാണ്ടിയെ പിന്നിൽ നിന്ന് കുത്തിയ മെത്രാച്ചന്മാരും, തിരുമേനിമാരും, സഭയും രാഷ്ടിയക്കാരും, ജനങ്ങളും, അന്യന്റെ വിയർപ്പാണ് നീങ്ങളുടെ അലങ്കാരം, എന്ന് ഓർത്തില്ല. കാലം അവരെ മാറ്റി പറയിപ്പിച്ചു ഇത്രയും ക്രൂരത അദ്ദേഹത്തോട് ചെയ്തിട്ട് ഇപ്പോൾ വന്നു നിന്ന് അദ്ദേഹത്തെ പുകഴ്ത്തി സംസാരിക്കാൻ ഒരു ഉളുപ്പും തോന്നുന്നില്ലേ? കാലം കണക്കു തീർത്തു........ ഉമ്മൻ ചാണ്ടി നീതിമാൻ ആണെന്ന് കാലം തെളിയിച്ചു. തീർച്ചയായും ആ മാമ്മോദീസ തൊട്ടി അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടത് ആണ്.🙏 May your life preach more than your lips.

Nice eulogy but also remember there could be 10000s like him around you ! Problem is that they do not matter to you because they have no office or power ! Jesus or his disciples had no power too yet he had all of it ! Kindly do not compare any person with God least of all OC. He had power to do the right thing yet he did not dare to do anything in public interest that would affect him politically or his image adversely ! The state administration continues to be as corrupt as ever ! I wonder what was his great contribution that did not get him votes ?Power did not corrupt hom,maybe ? He was a good man and lets leave it at that !
