Great video, I’ve struggled with flood coats . I usually dump the resin on top and let it flow over the sides. I always end up resanding because I find bubbles on the sides. I’m gonna try it your way. Thank you😀

I found waiting until the resin is stringy in the previous layer then it's time to pour the next as most of the heat is gone by then

Was The transperant and white resin for waves thick ?
@claytonjames47795 күн бұрын
gurl, no. Fill the vessel with water to the fill point. Multiply that by 0.86. That is your finished product amount including all additives and fragrance. add about 10 or 15% more if you need extra, like you suggested.

This is a great idea. I would recommend mixing the confetti into the resin before pouring and if you add ONE drop of Elmers glue or the like, it will suspend much better

You do know that all you needed to do was squeegee clear wide packing tape on both sides of photo before putting in resin or polymer clay ~ right ~ it can be baked in polymer clay with no harm ~ same with resin ( 2 part & UV)

If you mess up, is it possible to remove the resin and start over, or is the board essentially ruined?

There was some magenta on the side of the cup you were using to put on the printed picture. That might have been it.

I don’t understand what is the problem with having brown on your shirt 😅 that was a very odd comment… not recommending to mix certain colors because it makes brown was kind of wild to me 😅 I love brown…

So with two different, same size and shape candles ... candle #1 melts faster than candle #2 ... can mean that candle #1 might have more paraffin wax than #2 which might have some natural wax in it?

Hello Sheri, I learn so much from you. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and talent with the world. Hun I have just tried my first flower resin 14 inch piece. I want to make a clock. It’s pretty but not what I was hoping for. I’m in the US and I can’t find any luxurious dried flowers. Please help me Sheri. Where can I get flowers as pretty as yours. I do have silica gel. And I will dry my own if you will tell me the names of all the flowers in this video. Please? I would be so very grateful to you.

Hi.. Thanks for this video. I do not get any readymade wax blends specially designed for container and pillar candles. What i get is soy wax and paraffin wax. Can you please suggest ratio for both waxes for both pillar and mold candles please.

Great to see & learn how you created such a beautiful ocean/beach piece art. I'm just taking as many lessons in & hoping to remember them 😔 (memory going is not fun), but I have also liked, subscribed & set a Save for your videos so I can watch again & again. I like the dishwashing liquid, modge podge and water? method for foam as well as how you explained errors can happen & how to fix them. I love all art, buy everything but rarely get to make anything. One day I'll have my own art room or shed so I can have everything where it's easily found. Here it's hoarders art house... Funny but does put me off making/creating anything as spend forever trying to find what I'm after. On the positive side it's like OMG Christmas, Birthday when searching & discover things forgotten just shows how much I liked them too when I find more than 1 of same thing!🙂 Sorry my life story as a comment. Wish I could contribute added tips and techniques I've used... I do think you need to look at every item from a creative perspective, what it looks like, how it could be used differently to the way portrayed. I will try coming up with some I've done in the past next time 😊 Take Care & Thanks so much for sharing your talents, knowledge & Beautiful Creation 🙂

Wauw they turned out beautiful! No sinkholes, no cracks, no shrinking. Can you please me? I can’t get my candles right. I use beeswax and coconut oil. It gets sinkholes, cracks and shrinks. And this is the first time I hear it should be heated to the 85-90C. Everywhere i read said not over 80c since it burns the wax. But your candle looks perfect 😍
