Thank you so much for sharing in detail. There wasn't much on here for me to look at. I've wasted so much resin and alcohol ink and white pigment paste on my molds because I never could get a flower it all Blended together and looks terrible I'm going to try what you just said and see what happens

Hi Sheri. Thanks for this video. I had an odd layer result lately. Was using deep pour resin, laid the bottom layer. It was probably 36 hours later that I put the first floral piece down, the resin was still slightly soft but not so soft that the pieces sunk. Laid the next layer. Subsequent layers of resin I laid when the previous one was fully cured (because I kind of got busy with other projects and forgot about it). End result was the first layer where the previous layer wasn’t fully hard had a slight layer line but others didn’t at all. Very weird! Still trying to figure it out. The subsequent layers were thinner than the first one as I was trying to avoid bubbles, not sure if that might have something to do with it.

Wow thank you! I've been trying to replicate these ladies who are using a hot air dryer to make the roses but the ink just blows everywhere. This solution is much simpler

So after you get rid of the bubbles, you still need to pour more resin on top ?

Thank you b/c they charge $25 on Amazon for a tiny palm one. I should’ve learned this in 2012 when KZbin suggested the video 😂😂😂

Do you put a final coat of resin over the entire board or does it have a ridge at the end of the wave?

When the bubbles rise towards the top, do you shut off the air at the valve or turn off the pump? I understood that turning the pump off was a bad idea because the pump oil could back-feed into the vacuum chamber. Thanks.

Would have been nice if you said what shore silicone to use for what ie 10A, 20A or 30A… because I’d think that’s more relevant and helpful to beginners, than watching you hot glue cardboard together and mix an unknown shore rated silicone mix 😅 Guess I’m back to searching and looking to see if others have videos explaining that 😅

Thanks love for video I learned the hard way 😂heehheeee it's ok I tried with a fresh Hawaiian flower. Look beautiful, but I used UV resin. Did one layer place the flower down then? I kind of brush the resin on top and then stick it into the lamp. Looked beautiful for a couple of hours. Then it started to Brown some parts.
